If you’re coming to the end of your 12 month discounted gas deal with another provider this could be of use.
I believe this is currently the best rate going in WA right now assuming you’re an RAC member. Just remember that you have to monthly (rather than 3 monthly when they actually read the meter) based upon Kleenheat’s usage estimates.

Origin provide 40% and $75 through referral. No account service fee. No direct debit. discount doesn't go when you don't pay on time. Rates are cheapest or second cheapest

Silly question, never switched gas providers before. Do I ring the old one and cancel? Or is it like mobile phones when you port the number the old contract closes out?
Like a mobile contract. Except if you're with Alinta, be prepared for a call to convince you to stay. Alinta also have started offering some sort of discount so if you're with them and don't want to switch, have a look through their website. And maybe give them a call to try to get some credit too - which is what they offered me to stay.

I don't seem to be able to add the discount. I have my active RAC member number and it's saved on the site however I previously had a 25% discount loaded (still just showing that).
The total discount should now be higher. Anyone else having the same issue or am I doing something wrong?

When I added my RAC number it took a day or so to show the new discount.
But if you're only on 25 or 28% you should probably consider switching.
If you can't be bothered switching you can contact a customer service bot through messenger and get 35%.
Just signed up with Origin. They offered me 40% for year 1 and 35% for year 2.

Just wondering how this works for existing kleenheat. I was on 12.5% for pay on time discounts and when i went to rac membership in it got bumped to 30% off gas usage charges. Do i need to do something else to access 30%?
