    2G - Are we able to use the device in OZ ?

    • +1

      NO

  • +6

    GSM? the last GSM/2G network was shut down a couple of days ago. this is essentially useless here

    • +1

      Exactly right… this thing won't work as advertised. The other functions however, should work fine (relatively fine considering this is a $22 "smart watch" anyway) :).

    • +2

      Yeah, i had to throw away a couple of my 2G throwaway phones for new 4G throwaway phones that i have yet to throw away.

      • i upgraded my nokia 1100 (battery lasted 7 days) to an iphone 3gs that i have to charge every 3 days :(

        • Well i haven't thrown any away yet, but there's a few of them. Yes there is. Hey what's B1 doing there?

        • +2

          @AngryChicken: bananaphone == nokia 8110? ;)

        • +1

          @tdw: Close, but no banana.

          @AngryChicken: it's 2018 and they still haven't made that slide pop out like in the Matrix.

      • +1

        that kind of sorcery is way beyond my abilities lol

  • +1

    This would have been a smart watch back in 1998

    Will not work as phone in Australia.

  • +1

    They forgot to move the P before the oo.

    Feels like sockpuppeting, and is genuinely a junk product.

    • Let's not jump to assumptions - their posting and comment history looks pretty legit.

    Pandapoo

    Sounds like a crap Chinese watch…

  • Looks very similar to a cheap smart watch(DZ09) that I bought ages ago just to see if I should spend the money on a good one,
    So for me it worked very well and from that experience I will probably spend the money on something decent at some point - with good battery life.
    Although some good smart watches still have crap battery life. Its almost 'whats the point' if you cant use the functions properly just to get through the day, with exception of gps as that is a battery eater for any device.

    The only issue I had was that it would at times lose connection to the phone and also the battery is pretty crap,
    it really struggled to get through the day, if I could get a better battery for it that actually works then I would probably still use it
    maybe just unlucky and got a dud battery that doesn't work as it should. On mine there is no auto screen on by wrist turn, must manually tap it on.
    But all the other features work very well.

  • Won't work in Aus.
