… and if this type of food is the norm for you(and a mate), stop off at your GP and get a checkup once you're done.

    • +1

Probably need a GP to help with lockjaw looking at the height of that burger.

Not a bargain, just a regular deal.

    • +3

And your expertise in this field comes from? Are you comparing this to McDonalds? Another newbie with no idea!

  • +2

    Normally $40… lol…

Who would pay $40 for a couple of burgers…

    • -5

Not you jv… you have properties to maintain.

    • $40 for 2 GOURMET burgers AND 2 chips AND 2 Calamari/Onion rings AND 2 drinks, hell yeah.
Break it down, gourmet burgers are over $10 each, chips and drinks always adds $2-$3 each x2 even at maccas, plus rings add a few dollars, remember there is 2 of everything so $40 isn't bad.

    • Burger + chips + drink for $20 is still cheap

Have you been to a restaurant lately as most places charge around $20 for just a burger + chips

  • +1

This is a good deal. I have eaten there before. These are gourmet burgers, and it does usually cost around $40 for two people with drinks. I was unable to finish my burger because they are so big.

    • -1

$40 is still a lot of money for a couple of burgers…

  • -1

If this truly feeds two people then its a bargain.

I'm not so sure it does though…

can we put the CITY name at the START of the title?

    • +4

      You can, but I won't.

  • Great deal, Thanks!

  • +1

Seems some people have no idea of the prices of 'good' burgers.
To those people I say stick to your macca's $5 meals, leave the great bargains for the rest of us. :)

      Best Burgers in the World… $7 !!!!!

      • +4

Will only cost you a few hundred bucks to fly to Melbourne to buy the $7 burger linton. You really are a worry jv.

        • Was more of a overall comment.
There's an amazing burger place in Lorne and burgers were a minimum of ~$10, yet I'd have happily paid twice that.
Also another one, not quite as good, right near etihad stadium.
Just saying that if people are used to McDonald's or hungry jacks, then if course this will seem expensive, yet they'd have no idea on what they're missing out on.

Can you name one in Perth?

          I can't.

Every place that serves a decent burger in Perth (e.g. Jus, FAB), it's $14+ just for the burger without sides or drinks.

      • They do a decent burger no doubt, wouldnt go that far though, and they are in Albert Park ;)

  • As I was reading the title, I was hoping it was going to be in Perth - and it is!! Thanks buddy

  • I love V burgers, my fave burger joint! Been craving for it, thanks for sharing this!

  • +1

Thinking about getting this one. Just have to add that it's 1x Chips/onion rings or calamari. Not 2.

    • Good pickup, title is incorrect

  • any discount codes available????

  • Awesome deal, thanks op! Been wanting to try V Burger to see what the rave is all about :) Alfred's Kitchen serves up some pretty good late night burgers too for decent price.

  • You need to book even for takeaway and it's not valid on weekends.

But still good value. I've been there before on a simlar coupon and everything was fine and yummy!

  • I have been told Flipside burgers in Fremantle are supposed to be pretty good.

  • i bet the burger is also tiny, well at least it looks tiny in the picture.

    • They're actually really big.

This place is the cheapest I've seen in Perth for gourmet burgers I've seen in Perth even without the discount. The sauce they make for the onion rings is awesome.

      • it's like the pulp fiction movie :) what's a $20 burger taste like?

  • For Perth burger places try Billbys behind Clearmont show grounds, well priced tasty burgers, they also have a good veg burger selection. Also give Burger Bistro a go in Shafto Lane in teh city and Oxford st in Leederville, try the spicy burger, yum, they also have very tasty chips

    • And they cost… ?

  • Billbys are round $10, burger bistro round $14 from memory

    • Maylands golf course tavern down the end of Peninsula Dr also make great traditional heart attack burgers… they're huge so allow for some extra time to digest that puppy :) was around $10 from memory… great meal with some chips and a beer or three
