Saw this in my offers from Coles/Flybuy. If you need to buy 30L of petrol at Coles Express, I guess this is a good free $5.

  I love it when these deals stack..

  I got that one and this one ——- Save 10c off per litre offer valid when you activate this offer and spend a minimum of $0.11 on every petrol purchase (excludes LPG and Diesel) during the promotional period from Thu 5 Jul to Wed 11 Jul 2018 at Shell Coles Express.

  So I purchased 30 litres saving $3.00 with the 10 cent/litre discount. I also used a 4 cent/litre discount voucher getting me a further $1.20 discount….along with your posted offer I got $5 worth of groceries effectively for free. I got Milk $2, Bread $2 and I gave myself a chocolate treat for $1.

    did you know if you spent an extra $15 for a total of $20 you would have also been able to stack an extra 10c/l discount?

      Yes I did know that…but the problem with Coles Express is trying to find value. I wasted a dollar buying a chocolate bar when I would have preferred to buy healthy food.

      I usually shop at Coles and already find it difficult meeting the $50 per week spend requirement which gets me a much bigger discount on my Flybuys card.

      This week at Coles I have a couple of very good offers. I also buy discounted e-gift cards at a 5% discount. With the offers I have this week I'm effectively getting a 60% discount on my groceries. That's much better than spending a further $15 to get a $3 discount.

        Yeah I agree with you there. I usually do a gas bottle exchange. Not the cheapest place to get it done but usually works out cheaper after the 10c discount and at least it’s something I need

  I had one awhile back that was only 250 points, but was unlimited usage and no fuel or minimum spend required.
  I just kept buying $1 soft drinks and stuff - oh boy was that a good deal.
