    Released on Oct 9 2010 and still version 1.0.0 I don't like buying games that don't appear to get supported into the future… :(

      It's 1.19cents, I don't think you can reasonably expect any level of support for that price. That said, it runs well enough and I didn't have much trouble with my hours of gameplay.

      However, that isn't a large price for the game to take over your soul. Be warned, this game is dangerously addictive!

      Android is Version 1.0.4, 14 days ago, not sure why they forgot iOS.

        Different platforms. Newer updates might simply be patching up bugs that crop up and as iOS/Android are very different, this doesn't really say anything about the level of support. Additional DLC/content is something else altogether.

    Yeah, game is highly addictive guys. Apparently Kairosoft is working on Game Dev Story 2. Hopefully it comes out soon.

    Awesome game! Just finished a 20 year run today and got totally sucked in.
    Does anyone know how to get a Hardware Engineer? I got a guy who had Hardware Engineer as a past job but I couldn't change his role accordingly cause it didn't appear on the list when I used the Role Changer.

      you have to choose someone and keeping changing their job title. When you change their job title, you need to ugrade them to level 5. Once they have a past history of being a level 5 producer, designer, etc - then hardware engineer pops up when you want to change jobs again

    I've said it on the Android Market and I'll say it again. It's ridiculously addictive (until you actually complete it). There were so many reviewers on the Market saying the game is addictive and here as well. The game sucks you in with all the success you get haha. I created like 6 Metal Gear Solid games, 10 Final Fantasy games… Good fun

    Sequel is apparently coming out this month according to rumours. First game is still awesome even without patches (which I'm guessing they were saving for a sequel, easy money) :P

    I found it far too complex. I like my iphone games to be ridiculously simple (like Angry Birds).

    EDIT: Tried the free lite version, which is the same as the full paid version except it is limited to "three years"
