HP Envy Photo 7822 All-in-One Printer - Gold for $98 @ Harvey Norman

40

Hi,
I just bought this printer for $98. I think it is very good value for money. Photo print quality is very good for my eyes anyway. Ink is bit expensive and colour ink cartridge is a combined tri-color one. If you only do occasional photo or document print, this is for you.
Setup was really easy. I updated the firmware straight away. My MacBook Pro discovers the printer automatically.

Hope this helps.

Cheers!

  • congratz on your first post.

What do you think it is a good value of money?

    • Took him a year since registered to post his 1st deal, so it must be a good deal.

      • This one took him 6 years still not getting the title right

        You are so right.

    • Thanks LoveBargain15.
Its spec is much better than other similarly priced/discounted printers. It is very solidly built machine. This is a replacement
for my older Brother MFC which has got a clogged printer head.

  • looks like very new version…its not listed anywhere..

    • No, its a 2017 model. Its not listed anywhere because its a Harvey Norman exclusive.

Harvey Norman exclusive are great because they usually have a very high profit margin and we never have to price match (because customers cannot find that model anywhere else). It also prevents customers from knowing how much the product is really worth because of the lack of comparison.

      • Have you ever met Gerry?

  • July is title improvement month.

    • In future, please mention the store/retailer in the title.

That's been fixed. Moderators and power users spend time fixing titles throughout the day and any help is appreciated. Thanks for posting!

    • will do

  • You should have bought it 2 weeks ago when it was $77

    • well, i blamed you that i had to spend $22 more.

      • +1

You can save $33 to make up for it by buying the inks from officeworks and ask them to price match an online ink store

  • Bit of a dumb question but how would this compare to getting photos printed at Big w or HN or Kmart or wherever. Is this same quality?
