How come the earphones in the top pic is diff to the one under 'product details'. Ive tried earphones exactly like the top one and the sound quality was so poor i threw it all 5 away (bought in bulk for $2 each >.>). Which one do they send? Cause I want the bottom earphones.

Just out of curiousity, you didn't need to buy 10 over a 2 year period because they kept breaking down did you? 10 is a lot for 1 person :P
I'd be surprised if sound quality was very good, but it's relative value is reasonable I guess.. The standard earphones that come with iPods are very hard to beat in terms of how BAD they are (sound quality + build quality) The ones that come with newer gen iPods aren't as bad, but if you like your music I'd still invest in a decent paid of headphone/earphones.
actually, ipod earphones are relatively decent compared to most bundled earphones…i'm happy to use my ipod earphones as a backup/throwaway pair. they are good for shoving in the pocket when i go out at night and don't want to carry my IEMs.
but yes, i would spend a bit of money and get much better quality. even $30-50 or so can get you some half decent earphones (relatively). ie. cheap sennheisers.
With these things you don't expect them to last long so they're not bad if you don't want to waste money and want a pair of earphones you can thrash.
Also please do not mention quality when you know nothing about it.
I own a few of these and the build quality definitely isnt that great. They definitely sound better than the $10 priced earphones from shops like K-Mart but the build quality lets it down significantly. The ones im currently using are falling apart with a crack/tear in the wires near the top right bud and the sheathing for the plug has completely teared off making it really hard to pull out of jacks.
From average one of these lasts about 3 months before you have to buy another.

Not exactly a deal, it's always this price. Sound quality wise… the originals aren't very hard to beat. IIR a site sells $0.01 headphones (max 1 per 2weeks), it was a forum post.
