      Or Uniqlo logo?

      • Or Daiso?

        • +1

          The logo more like Uniqlo.

      • And Daiso packaging

yup, they pretend to be a japanese company

      • They are quite convincing…

I wouldn't look into this too much. Australian Miniso is just another franchise. And it seems the franchisee had set up the company out of Hong Kong.

Miniso was founded in 2011[7] by Japanese designer Junya Miyake, a graduate of the Bunka Fashion College in Shinjuku, Tokyo, and Chinese entrepreneur Ye Guo Fu.[8] Initially claiming to be a famous Japanese brand, despite operating primarily in Mainland China under Chinese company Aiyaya,[9] Miniso has since expanded outside of China and opened over a thousand stores worldwide.[6]

    We bare bears! <3

    • Is the show any good? I watched the first episode and didn't think much of it.

      • It's awesome, i spent many good times watching it with my son on Saturdays

        • You're talking to a guy that thinks Adventure Time has wittiest writing of any show since Firefly. I'm pretty spoilt. I'll give it another show.

      • I'm 23 and enjoy watching it haha!

  • WARNING: these guys' exchange & refund policy is shocking. I bought the wrong charging cable for my phone and I tried to exchange it for the right one the next day, thinking 'I have the credit card transaction record on my phone and it's a Miniso product, easy!'. I was wrong: they insisted in seeing the original receipt (which I had lost) and they proceeded to refuse an exchange. When I pointed out that this was against the Australian Consumer Law they still refused to comply.

They also ignored my social media postings on this episode, and an email in which I copied in Consumer Affairs Vic.

I urge all OzBargainers to boycott them..

I work for a place that handles warranty stuff and from experience, in your case ACL will be a hard case to argue.

Majority of the product for Miniso is sourced and sold also in their other worldwide branches. Even if it's their branding, there's no way to prove you bought it here rather than overseas then tried to return it here.

However, I can't imagine it being more than $5 so they should have really made ur life easier as customer service is most important still!! That's what I would have done…

On another topic, I wished they bought over more range that you can buy from their HK branches. Bought a bike phone holder there and wanted another one but they don't have it here!

Miniso wireless speakers are surprisingly very good!

    • Which one did you buy? I bought this one and there's a sound that makes it sound like a radio (high pitch noise?). It doesn't happen with the auxiliary cord.

I don't know if I can even return it because I went to the one in the city and they had no power so no receipt.

  • Bought a pair of these Bluetooth headphones.

    Can't go wrong for 26.99

    Also wireless eardbuds for 23.99

This store has a lot of power banks that are on sale too if you don't want to order from overseas.

    • Are their wireless earbuds any good?
