expired [eBay Plus] 2018 Xiaomi Mi Power Bank 2i 10000mAh (Dual USB, QC) $18.99 Delivered (AU) @ Mobilemall eBay

951

Great price if you have free delivery with eBay Plus, you can signup to 30 day free trial if not.

See previous deals here. This Power Bank 2i (model PLM09ZM) was released in 2018 and includes dual USB input and output, unlike the older Power Bank 2 (model PLM02ZM) plus improved battery/charging. Pic.

This is local stock shipped from NSW, no potential customs issues.

Size: 147x71.2x14.2
Model: PLM09ZM (2018 latest Version)
Input: 5.0V2.0A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A
Output: 5.1V2.4A 9V/1.6A MAX, 12V/1.2A MAX
Unique Tech: Quick Charge 2.0
Input interface: Micro USB
Output: USB 2 USB (USB-A)

Note: Some previous deals and other sellers mention QC 3.0 for this same PLM09ZM model, however it appears this is not something claimed by Xiaomi. See discussion here, here and here. In any case it has quick charge but don't expect quick charge 3.0 if you are concerned about that.

Note that you can get 5% off if you purchase 2 using PENNY5 code, or something else for $11.01+ (to hit the minimum $30 spend for PENNY5 code).

    Showing as $18.99 for me?

    •

Oh wow, when I started writing up the deal it was $20.99, it looks like they've dropped it further:

      I'll update thanks

When compared to the Power Bank 2 (model PLM02ZM), the Power Bank 2i is taller

    •

Thanks heaps for the heads up!!

      Hmmm, so long….. but 2 x ports!

      Great price too

Yep, something to be aware of - picked this up in China recently and it's the same length and width as my OG 16,000 mAh Power Bank.

For me, it's worth it for QC functionality but it's definitely not as compact as the OG 10,000 mAh version.

      That last pic is inappropriate.

Anyone know where to get a silicone skin for this model?

QC 3.0 is definitely a mistake from the sellers. This powerbank is using a Fitipower FP6601M controller that supports QC 2.0. The power bank also has support for Apple 2.4A though.

  •

    Wow…. I wish I needed this.

  •

Is this the one that has the bulging battery problem?

  •

Damn, bought the one for $21.50 yesterday.

  •

Will this quick charge a Note 8 or S9? Also work with Iphone 7 ?

  •

I just bought one of these and the eBay invoice was $18.99 (total), but they have removed $25.99 (ie with $7 shipping) from my Paypal account. I'm signed up to the eBay trial, so it should be free shipping.

    Is this normal with eBayPlus?

    • +2 votes

If you click on the transaction I believe it would show $25.99 being funded by $18.99 from your payment source and $7 from eBay Plus. In that case it is normal.

Can this simultaneously charge devices, AND be charged itself as well?
We're about to go travelling and if it can be both charging and charger, that would be ideal (single wall charger, multiple phones charged overnight).

    •

I have the older single port model and it is possible to do pass through charging. I'd hope that this has the same feature.

man I wish this has a USB C input. I dont have anything that charges through micro USB anymore since both my phones are USB C

    •

Yep, exactly my problem. I don't want to carry around a micro-USB cable just to be able to charge the power bank. I want to quick charge it via USB-C.

What's the difference between the Xiaomi Power Bank 2, 2i and 2C?

    • +1 vote

In reference to both your comments:

      1. You can't simultaneously charge this, and also charge other devices at the same time. Only the V1 allows pass-through for these models.
      2. The Xiaomi Power Bank 2 is the first model, released with 1 USB port. The 2i was made for the indian market and 2C for the chinese market (Both 2i and 2C are the Xiaomi Power Bank 2 v2 persay)
      •

OK, thanks. #1 is a shame, that would have been really handy.

Are there any other powerbanks available which can do pass-through charging, with dual output?

        • +1 vote

Actually let me rephrase that sorry, it does allow pass-through but not at quick charge speeds.

I believe the 20000maH Version does support the QC pass through though.

        •

          @doweyy: OK.
QC won't matter too much, if it's on pass-through, it will likely have devices connected overnight.
          Thanks!

Black version is now listed as out of stock.

  •

Thanks OP. Just ordered. White version still available

  •

I hope this is/was actually local stock. I ordered from another "local" seller over a week ago and still haven't received.

Not really in a rush, but disappointing nonetheless.
Only reason I like GB and the rest of that ilk… You know what you're getting. Drop shippers on eBay irritate me.

    •

The trick is to look at the seller profile. Underneath where it lists followers, member since etc. is a location. 9/10 times it say their their real location as sellers can put anything in a listing's location.

      •

It was from a well known seller on this site. Melbourne stock.
I suspect they either ran out of stock and are drop shipping, or just drop ship regularly.

There's always a chance it's just poor service, but when I knowingly order from China or HK and can receive items in around a week (or 4 days from Singapore!), then I would like to think aus sellers could manager better than 10 days (and counting).

  •

Pretty impressive how they can get 15W max on the second port when the output is 5.1V and 2.4A…

  •
