  • 32.5% Discount and free shipping. Shop back + wish evoucher + eBay Plus.

    • I don't think they payout with ebay voucher redemptions tho

      • Cashback is not qualified for:

Promo codes not approved by ShopBack
Gift card purchases, Charity and non-profit items
If anything from within a basket is unpaid or returned, cashback for whole basket will be declined.
        Store app bookings
Auctions won with bid sniping tools

    • From the fine print:

'Payment using any type of voucher or eBay credit may result in your purchase being ineligible to earn cashback'

EDIT: Cashrewards also has the same clause.

    • May I know what wish evoucher is? Is it the woolies wish eGift?

      • That's the one.

        • Can you use Wish card on ebay?

        • +2

          @fatice:
          Nah, it goes like this:
          1) Buy eWish gift cards via Cashrewards for 5% off.
          2) Install the Woolworths Money app and attach the eWish cards to the app.
          3) Go to a Woolworths and grab a bunch of eBay gift cards. Redeem the eWish codes at the counter. Depending on what you're buying, get the $100 eBay cards if you can, as there is a limit of 10 codes (sale promo codes/gift card codes) that can be used in a single transaction.
          4) Redeem eBay cards at checkout on eBay.

You might want to call before going to a Woolies, as quite a few seem to be sold out, or only have either $100 or $50 eBay cards.

          @Bin Chicken:
          Thanks for the info.

That is a lot of hoops to jump through.

        • @Bin Chicken: Can the left over balance from ebay gc be used for another day?

        • @karan singh rathore:
          Absolutely.

        • @fatice:
Yeah, this 2.5% cashback makes more sense if you're not going to spend too much. The 2.5% saving difference in getting the cards only makes sense if you're planning on spending quite a bit (like $1,500+) and had to go to Woolies anyway. The other key difference is that with this method your money is locked into the gift cards, so refunds become a headache.

  • Can get cashback from gc?

  • Can't find any reference to the 2.5%?

  • So…. no coupon code?

    • Nipe

      • The code PROXY works because it is approved by shopback

        • Shittttt I did without shopbackkkkkk

sounds like Cashrewards needs to up their game

    • -1

      CashRewards are just greedy

      • -2

Cashrewards are greedy because Shopback are copping a loss to deliver higher cashback on eBay? Suuuuure that makes heaps of sense.

  • Can we get two cashbacks from both Cashrewards and Shopback for one purchase?

    • -3

You sure can, just do two purchases, one from Cashrewards and other from Shopback.

    • Hey russbuss,

The answer in short would be no - to ensure you get cashback from us, make sure your last click is through ShopBack right before you make your purchase!

No deal for me….looked at the available inverter microwaves and the prices are steep!

Example, Sharp R395EST (2018 model) - Appliance Central has it for $335.55 (part of this 25% off sale) bringing it to $251.66 with PROXY code.

NAPF (not part of the sale) has it for $257, using PENNY5 code = $244.15

    ….Plus….my 2.5% ShopBack…$5.14

  • When is the expiry? Today only?

I'm not ready to make a purchase yet.. simple as that. Don't want to commit to $2k of HDDs to find I can't get the NAS security running with user based enumeration (apparently it's a big failing of Synology's)

  • Damn I used cashrewards. I'll always compare from now on :(

    • +1

Compare with Savable chrome add in. Just don't click through it otherwise it might void cash back claim.

    • Personally, I've found going through the Shopback app is the best experience. Don't have to worry about ad blockers etc.

  • Ebay never tracks anymore, my last purchases of a TV and a microwave both did not show.

    • +1

Yeah large purchases or large cashbacks seem to never track for some strange crazy reason!
The $10 purchases track no problems tho

  • +3

Why has it reverted to 1%? The deal on the shopback website says 2.5% until 11.59pm today, and its only 11.31pm. Really disappointed with ShopBack. My previous cashbacks had trouble getting through, and they've been sitting in a Pending status for many weeks now. Now this. Not sure why I keep trying with these guys, it always fails. Never had any such issues with other cash back systems.

    • To be fair they didn't mention which timezone it expires :) (Joke)

I've had similar debates with them about timezones and they dont seem to understand them!

      • Well Im Sydney. Based on the direction earth rotates, I dont think they should have any reason to have had it expire sooner than their stated 11.59pm.

        • They are not based in Australia, So could be any timezone :)

          But I agree very misleading

    • Not sure what happened there but apologies for the confusion - as long as your last click was through "eBay Flash Sale" and not "eBay Australia", you should be getting 2.5% cashback.

Regarding expiry times - we set them on Sydney/Melbourne time :)

      • I made a purchase on the 12/7 at 2:18pm
However shopback recorded the transaction on the 11/7 and calculated with 1% cashback (instead of advertised 2.5%)

How can I have this fixed?

        Thanks Rep!
