  • Their refurb is very unprofessional, I bought 3 laptops, all come in different condition. one looks very old, and one broken. I returned the broken one.

  • I opened up my miix 510 that I got off them to upgrade my nvme ssd and the display connector was loose and popped off straight away. Explains why it blue screened when it I knocked it on something. Doesn't happen anymore once I popped it back. The thinkpad 10 I had before that had a touch defect that I had to return.

  • The refurb Yoga 720s I bought off Grays died after a day. They did refund in full but the refund process was a bit slow.

    • did they allow you to keep the dead laptop?

      • Nope. Had to return the laptop and took them 4 business days to assess that the laptop is indeed dead.

Cr*p, I was going to buy but after those comments :(

They all got refunded if yours don't end up well then get a refund and free returns with plus. But in case it's good then you saved yourself $600

I bought a $1500~ refurb Toshiba from Grays 2 & 1/2 years ago for $400~ Came in next to new condition, has done me more than adequately for Uni (and life - sole computer typing on it now….) thus far, and would do again. Wouldn't have been able to get a computer with those specs for sub $1200 at the time… You may not get as good a deal as me, or others have, but you can always return, and Grays are solid.

I must of been lucky from my recent purchase 6 months ago. I bought a refurbished Lenovo laptop from Grays ebay
and it was near new condition. Still has no issue till now.

  • on my 2nd refurb now,

    both turned up looking new

my first one the battery was dead, took it to the shop, they installed a new one and it was fine for 2 years before I sold it

    would buy again

  • Good price if you are fine to buy a used one in good condition with specs of a new laptop for almost half price and warranty.

  • My Miix 700 came in near new condition - some shine on the trackpad and evidence of use on some keys but overall was alright.
Hadn't been updated for 2 years when I got it and was very hard to use. Since update it's been alright. Keyboard/trackpad now is constantly disconnecting or not registering some keys (for example it'll recognise a "D" but not a "B".
