  As far as I can tell the inno3D, similar to the MSI, don't have a backplate, so they might sag since these cards are quite long/heavy.

  Either way great price for a 1080, though I'm still holding out since the rumours of new generation coming are probably true. Of course we don't know the date but these are 1080s are 2 years old and only finally back to around RRP…

    Definitely hold out if you can. There are rumours that Nvidia is sitting on 300,000 more current GPUs than they want and obviously current GPus were going to tumble anyway when the 1180 is released.

      Yup and check out the 2nd hand GPU's on Ebay right now theres a flood and these prices will surely drop more.

      Allot of better bargains around for those who dont wanna wait. I'm definitely going to hold out another 6 months before my next GPU.

  May i ask what mainboard, rams and CPU for $600 i should get that can go well with the gigabyte card? Wanna upgrade my brother's comp.

    Check out the ryzen 5 the cpu should be around 150 - 160, cant go wrong with gigabyte mainboard which is around 160, just make sure its am4, for memory go for gskill, its around 200-300, right now im in middle of working break, i will send you a link later

    Some one who thinks VGA means something like "video graphics adaptor".

    Pretty funny to read :) It's like at work how everyone calls their PC case the "hard drive". smh

    At least it's a low price for a graphics card :)
