$400 Cash Back per $100k Settled

I ran this promotion earlier in the year and was successful (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/359523). I have the capacity to do this offer again for a short time.

The terms are very simple:

• Paid on settlement
• Must be a refinance
• The LVR must be less that 80% and no defaults or bad judgements
• PAYG customers only
• Melbourne based (if not Melb based can still do it, provided application is strong)
• Must have made contact with me before 31 July 2018

This promotion is focussed on good quality clients. The cash from this promotion is from me, not the bank. eg A $500k loan will receive $2000 from me in addition to whatever else the selected bank has on offer.

  This is the first mortgage related post i’ve seen on OZB for a while, anyone know best rates/deals going at the moment to compare? Refinance for this post but also for new first home owner loan deals? Heard ING are pretty good and told I need an offset account but apart from thisdon’t know where to start!

    It's hard to give a rate when people have different requirements and different amounts they want to borrow. Eg… are you borrowing more than 80%? Do you want to fix?

    Many people don't need an offset so choose not to pay for it, because redraw works just as well for them.

    In saying that, ING does have very competitive variable rates for under 80% with offset account. It should be 3.68% (as at July 16 2018).

      This deal is on top of any bank deal, so in answering your question "yes", but you can choose a basic loan too.

  We also went with Michael on this deal. He was a great help throughout a straight forward and painless refinance. Michael passed on the cash back quoted and we got cash back from the bank on top so very happy. Would highly recommend Base Finance.
