Select a size and price adjusts accordingly

      Black also same price

    • Select a size, it'll drop when you do. I was about to buy this until I read the reviews. Forget about it.

  • Available in black as well. Keep in mind it's showing the wrong EU size in cart (at least for AU 12, it's showing EU 45), and I'm getting mixed results from Amazon Global Support.

    • Well, the Air Jordan I got a long time ago were a 12 US and a 45 EU so in my experience this is actually correct.

      • +2

You're right: a US 12 is an EU 45… for women.

        • Sorry, my original Air Jordan say differently.

          Have a look:

Man or woman enough to admit you are wrong and apologise? ;-)

        • @Lysander: I take your point regarding the reference chart supplied, but we've all just read 3 other charts with 3 different answers.

I'm an EU 46.5-47.5, and I'm an AU 12 (approximately 30 cm foot). If I put on a pair of EU 45s, I'm going to start binding my toes.

          @jasswolf:

I consult with a medical grade footwear business and am well aware that there is no uniform sizing. Best to go by actual centimetre measurements and disregard the sizing number.
However, the majority of the shoes in that business do conform to the sizing chart I referenced.

Keep in mind that older shoes and older brands liken AU sizing to UK sizing which is incorrect these days.
Other brands have different number for US sizing, AUS sizing, and UK sizing. Also incorrect.

These days AU sizing is US sizing. UK sizing is typically 1 - 1.5 sizes less.

    • Amazon size chart seems wrong. I wear EU44 or AU9.5 or US10.5.

The size chart's right, it just defaults to the women's tab on the page that comes up. ;)

    • I noticed the same thing. Will the deliver the EU size or selected AU size?

      • +1

Customer support were zero help with this. It's free returns though, so just organise an exchange.

One of them suggested I get both and return one…

        • Cool thanks for that.

      • They sent the EU size, I ordered a 9.5AU, got sent an 8.5, can't exchange only refund

If I didn't already have a pair of shoes …

Julius Marlow shoe size chart: https://juliusmarlow.com.au/sizechart

It seems Amazon is mistakenly selecting items 2 sizes down. E.g. Select 9.5AU -> EU42/43 in cart (should be 43/44 per above chart)

    • I just noticed your comment. Looks like I was impacted by this. The shoes I received were not the size I selected. Looks like I'll be sending them back…

    • I got hit with this too, 8.5 arrived after ordering 9.5AU, customer service won't replace only refund and now the right size is unavailable.

      Stupid system

  • +1

    no more size 7

  • How does this compare to Hush puppies?

    • +1

      inferior

    • +2

      For style? Typically better.
      Construction? Marginal.
      Sole? Sameish.
      Comfort? Worse, but not awful.

  • Thanks! I was wondering whether i'd get any value out of an Aussie Prime membership right up until I jumped on my computer at work today. Parcels incoming (inc these shoes just as my current ones gave out).

  • Cost co has these for $70 if I recall

    • +4

Given their quality even $70 is too much to pay for this brand.

  • How are these compared to hush puppies as I need new pair for work after two years of usage?

    • +4

JM make shite products that wear out far too easily.

I'm the same with Hush Puppies and can easily wear them for ~2 years.

The Two times I tried JM shoes, both needed replacing within 6 months, looking far worse than my worn out HP's.

      • How's the heels on your hush puppies? Do you wear them everyday?

        • +2

I wear them 5-6 days a week. The hush puppies soles last for the duration I use them. They normally wear out within 22-24 months of use for me.

With JM's not only does the sole/heel wear away, the upper leather portion looked far worse for wear. Weird crinks/cracks were quite visible within 6 months of use.

        • @xuqi:

Great thanks for your input, I'll look at hush puppies instead

        • @xuqi:
Totally agree. "Leather" is hopeless. Cracks very easily with minimal use

  • not a lot of love on product review
    https://www.productreview.com.au/p/julius-marlow.html

honestly I would spend a bit more to get a better pair if these are expected to last 6 months or less

    • Hush puppies upheld in comments above also don't have good ratings on ProductReview.com
      https://www.productreview.com.au/p/hush-puppies.html
I am confused here, I have ordered one anyway, If I don't like will return them.

      • +1

there is a reason why people have moved on from Hush Puppies/ Clarks/ Florsheims etc

You could get a pair of decent Asian made Good Year welted pair of leather shoes, for around the $150 mark, or Portugese made Blake constructed shoes for a bit less

Took me many years (and many pairs) to spend a bit more :)

I thought I was being extravagant when I bought my first pair of Herrings shoes costing $300, only to find out they are 'entry level shoes', similar to the Loakes

  • Also the 'Honest' are available in black for the same price: https://www.amazon.com.au/Julius-Marlow-Honest-Fashion-Shoes…

  • Could you get them cheaper during their Christmas sales?

  • pig leather

    • How do you know?

  • Always says unavailable for me regardless of size. I wonder how they compare to florsheim.

    • Florsheim are way, way better.

Style, build quality, comfort are superior to JM. I own about 4 different pairs as well as a pair of imperials and CT shoes / Aquila’s. Just don’t opt for florsheims cheaper child brand “Stacy Adams’.

      Hope this helps.

      • which CT shoes did you try
the Asian made lower priced ones
or the British made higher priced ones?

  • The black is still available in 10 and 10.5 if anyone wants them
EDIT: Also the tan in 12
