Nice find Op - pity it is only available via app though.
Have tried numerous times to download this damn app, to have it freeze soon after running. According to reviews this is common.
Would have thought McDs would have sorted this out by now .. grrrr
When was the last time? They did a refresh a couple of months ago. Still a pretty crappy app though
I find the app crappy too. This is like mid 90's pricing. I use to always order a sundae 20 years ago but now with the expensive pricing a always skip it now.. ha might try the app again.
When it crashes, try closing app completely, then open it striaght back up. You need location must be on now for app to work with offers, then the fries shaking up and down animation goes for a few seconds (tho it is frozen at that time, you just have to wait).
I got frustrated with app at first, then it just became natural to close and re-opem app (which always works for me) . Though considering the size and wealth of mcdonalds, it seems odd and bad customer service not to make the app work better/easier for customers.

What I found the other day with the big Mac code
I used the code in a drivethru order
Later in the day I still had the Big Mac offer in the app but it had a new code so who knows if the drive thru used the code or just gave me a discount on the register
Oh right… also how does maccas sundae compare to hj's sundae?
Maccas icecream tastes way better. HJ's has a gross milky flavour to it, whereas maccas is nice and sweet

It's not on the home page, go to my rewards in the menu. It's there for me at least.
In rewards menu and must have location on . Btw, anyone who keeps location on all the time (and rarely need it) you can save alot of battery by keeping location in phone settings off, until when you need it.
Location with the highest accuracy takes up most battery. If you want to save battery and can't be bothered switching the location on/off, just set it to use mobile/network.
@homersimpson: does that actually work for this app ?
I thought they needed GPS and/or wifi location

Good idea :) thanks. I thought some stores would be stingey and refuse to give out topping, unless it is with the sundae (I think I heard a store worker saying to another employee something like that, not to do it) .
Since the cone seems to get alot more ice cream than in the lid…. Could get an empty drink cup (or water, drink the water out) then cut or rip the cup to make it smaller.
Then tip ice cream from the cone into empty cup, tip lid full of choc syrup over the top :)

Yep, I'm having the same issue.
I had the same issue but rebooted my phone and it works again.
I guess Maccas were tinkling with the app but try now.I just updated (10MB). It's working now.
