      You may have better timing with your flights. Both HKG-ZRH and SIN-ZRH are ugly overnight flights.

        Can you comment on the reputation of FlyFar? I've heard a lot of bad things about them and these flights don't appear on any other website which is a bit scary for me.

          I have not had a problem with them.

          Which flights don't appear on other websites? The flights that I am looking at are on BYOJet, iFly.net.au, MyTrip and more.

          @IWantThatFlight: Hm I'm looking at the flight to Rome. I also checked both the Qantas and SWISS websites for the flights For example I searched the price of flying Sydney to Rome and I even tried just SG to Rome on SWISS and the prices are like double of what iFly.net.au is quoting.

          Sorry I'm not trying to discredit them on purpose, I'm actually looking for the flight, so genuinely concerned.

          @bw123: Hi - The flights are with Qantas to Singapore and Swiss from Singapore to Europe. I am not sure if they are code-share partners or not, but if they aren't then these flights they wouldn't be on either site.

          @bw123: In the case of Sydney to Rome, BYOJet (an Australian company owned by Flight Centre) is only $19 more than FlyFar so that might be a good alternative.

          Thanks for looking up that for me rep, appreciate your effort and time. But I think for me personally I will avoid these flights this time from both BYOJet and FlyFar. Mainly due to poor reviews online and bad user experiences.

          Just a caution to others, do a bit of research on these third party flight companies before you book, as many of them have bad reputations and fake flights (they ask for more money after flight confirmation or cancel your flight entirely). General rule is if you can't find any prices even close to these "cheap" flights on reputable sites like Expedia for example, or on the actual airline's website, then I would be very careful. Sometimes if it sounds too good to be true, then it is!

          I've used BYOJet a number of times with no issues.
          IMO most people's bad reviews are because of some mistake they made themselves then complaining BYOJet/whoever wouldn't waive every single fee and refund everything etc

    A lot of the flights are through "FlyFar.com.au" which I heard has a really bad reputation? These might not even be real prices, if you look on actual carrier website, you won't find it at all. Just a warning to people..

    With only a 1 hour stop over in Singapore for some of these deals, if your Qantas flight is running late and you miss the Swiss Air leg you could be pretty much stuffed?

    I have booked with flyfar.com.au previously and had no issues. Their parent company Flightnetwork is based in Canada and I did have an issue once and rang them directly and had it all sorted out.

    Incidentally these review sites are always misleading. Have a look at the rating for flightcentre.

    Rep, I like to explore the places where I have to change planes, perhaps for two or three days. Is there a way to search for such trip, perhaps specifying minimum 48-hour layovers on either the outwards or return trip?

    I know I can do a multi-city search, but that never returns prices even close to the prices in this deal, and it's a lot more awkward to work out the optimum dates.
