Travel insurance reputation really depends on the underwriter
Choice (https://www.choice.com.au/products/travel/money/travel-insur…) had given them a good claims score but good to know you had issues. Might look elsewhere
Absolutely the worst travel insurance company I have ever used. I had an overseas health emergency and they worse than unhelpful. When we got back to Oz they delayed and delayed paying our claim, tried to bury us in more paperwork. Reasonable rates but if you need to claim good luck. Never again.
