[NSW Metro] Mitsubishi French Door/Multi Drawer Fridges from $1840 @ Bing Lee eBay

220
PLUGIN

I work at an appliance store who sell Mitsubishi (Not Bing Lee) and these prices are ridiculously cheap (More than a few hundred below what they normally are). I love Mitsubishi fridges, especially their Japanese fridges which are incredibly space efficient (just check their dimensions and relative space they hold). They all come with 5 Year Warranties. Check out their reviews on ProductReview if you do not believe me. If you're looking for a new fridge these ones should be among those you consider. All are non-plumbed in case you're wondering.

This is only valid for NSW Metro I believe. Free Pickup or $80 Delivery.

  • i wish they would deliver to VIC :P

    • Haha yeah, I'm from VIC myself :( but oh well I thought I'd let the Sydney People enjoy this deal haha

B/L have a warehouse [not retail] in Vic. my Samsung fridge came out of the Vic. warehouse, phone them, i found them great to work with

If that fails E & S Trading matched and beat every single legit price i had, they sell Mitsubishi brand

      • Could work! However yeah the eBay site listing has restricted the delivery so I've kept the deal as NSW Metro.

      • thanks ill give them a call

Hey cool, a fridge with a built in filing cabinet

    • +3

I've had my Ex574 for 3 years now without a single issue.

In fact, everyone has commented how awesome it looks without realising thats how almost every japanese fridge is designed.

    • Hahahaaa. Didn't look at the fridge initially. Looked at them after reading your comment and can't help laughing at every pic.

I wanted to buy one because Mitsubishi are the best, but no water/ice maker in it i donated my money to Samsung and B/L

There are Ice Makers, just non plumbed units.

The reason I prefer this (Being a salesman of such fridges) is t here are always always always issues with plumbed units and their lines stuffing up. Whether it may be because the pressure isn't right or the lines freezing up, it's always a complaint I hear.

That's the main reason but also the fact that Ice Makers and Water Dispensers take up SOOOO much space typically. That's not the case with the Mitsubishi's Auto Ice Makers however.

      • Have had our quad-door 712L Samsung [plumbed] near a year, never missed a beat

Was very careful watching the plumber install the tap/water-line to the unit, he does a lot of them, told me to relax lol checked a month ago, all tight, no leaks all good thus far

Does not take up a lot of room inside the fridge, they only thing i dislike is the water filter lasts 6 months, i removed it, reset the system and put it back :-)

Another quality Samsung product [i still like Mitsubishi]

~1 year old 743 owner here. We use the ice maker. Each morning in summer we check the water levels and top it up if needed.

When researching our options we read too many problems with plumbed ice makers/water dispensers. 2 places we've stayed at recently had plumbed units. Neither of them had working water dispensers. A jug in the fridge is less hassle.

We bought the 743C about 3 years ago, and it's been an outstanding fridge. It's economical to run, very flexible in it's use and looks really flash in a modern kitchen. We did have an issue about 6 months in with the ice maker failing, but after a repair didn't resolve the issue, Mitsubishi promptly arranged a new replacement.
At the time we looked very closely at the Samsung's, LG's, Electrolux, F&P etc, but this one really stood out from the crowd given it's internal size vs external size and overall looks. Very highly recommended. $3,199 is an exceptional price too.

Not to mention a 5 year warranty.

  • So, why the (profanity) is it $3999 rrp?

haha the one you're looking at is a very premium fridge just like any premium product but I'll give you a lowdown:

      • Fridge Walls are super small all around, meaning it's inside is deeper than your average fridge without being any deeper externally than your average fridge. Also the relative size to space ratio is insane on the Japanese Units.
      • Top Notch Energy Rating
      • Japanese Made
      • 5 Year Warranty/10 Year Motor
      • bleeping huge fridge (743L)
      • Designer Fridge
      • Auto Ice Maker

There's many more features but those are the ones most people would be interested in.

They were one of the first to offer the hot/cold variable chiller box in a fridge. Even now if you want one, the ex574 is pretty much the onle one you can fit in an apartment imo.

Also i like being able to basically take apart the icemaker for cleaning now and then. The buildup in the hoses and various corners of the water container are pretty off-putting. Plus i use filtered water!

  • We have a small version of the Japanese made one and love it. It was the biggest fridge we could get to fit in our small space

    • Unfortunately I don't sell Hitachi so I wouldn't know about their stuff, but from looking at the fridge they seem to use identical technology in their fridges. I can't speak for Hitachi but I've heard the Mitsubishi warranty service is average. Not amazing but not bad either.

  • Random side question the front is glass but on the side of mine I had an cheap sink device magnetised. And its red plastic has stained the pain surface.. any tips on how to get it out without damaging the paint?

  • Anyone find the freezer compartment of the MR-WX743C-WA-743L a little bit too small?

    • I've had people wonder about that too, Yes, the space of the freezer is relatively small however don't forget the Versa Drawer can also be used for Freezer space which adds another 56 Litres to your 150L of space. If you're desperate you can always use the Ice Drawer which adds another 25L to your storage. Effectively, this gives you about 230L of freezer space which is the same as you'd get in the French Door Fridges (eg. MRL650)

You've also got the Supercool Chilling Tray in the main fridge to store meat and fish which stays around -3 to 0 degrees Celsius which I hear people like to use.

  • have had the top model 743 litre one for about a year
    best fridge ever
