I’ve been looking at these. Don’t be fooled by the RRP. They go for way less then RRP on eBay but this is a good price.

These things serve no purpose for most of you. Don't get baited, it's on sale for a reason.

    • Especially the RRP is just unbelievable.

  • Sold out must have had like 7

  • Missed out dammit… :(

  • Do these shutdown after 15 mins (like gen1)?
Gen 1 were close to useless for me, waste of $250

    • this one should last 360s that's why it's cheaper

My gen 1 works pretty well. Gotten at least 30mins at a time

      • No overheating? Mine barely records 10mins before overheating

Used a Gen 1 to record my wedding ceremony. Shut down before the bride arrived. Good start to marriage.

        lol.

Ah damn. Really like my 2016 model and was hoping to snap up a 2017 :( too slow

  • Might be a blessing in disguise for those that miss out. These things can crash easily and can only be reset by dismounting the battery. With Gen 1 you can remove its battery but Gen 2's battery is built in, clearly Samsung did not bother to fix its manufacturing flaw.
With Gen 1 I manage to squeeze out 50 mins of recording by setting up the camera angle and turning off phone's remote control of wifi/Bluetooth. I have two Gen 1so I can rotate the cameras and let one cool off a bit.
Gen 2 fixes the glare under sunlight and can do live broadcast and overheating has been improved and at this price nobody can be faulted to have a go. Only that when it crashes(won't power on, won't charge), try contacting Samsung for help before you send it back for repairs.

  • Back in Stock, but code not working.

  • Was going to buy but happy enough with my original version. Better photo quality anyway
