what's the best offer on the block?

    • I'm curious to know too

-Vote. Can't see 10% off anywhere during the checkout process. If anything Citi Rewards have jacked up the points required for all gift cards since the last time I checked (about 4 months ago).

Been using my Amex more, the Citi rewards and the value of the points are pathetic now. Probably cutting value because lots of cards are from annual fee free sign ups.

      • so, what other no annual fee rewards card offers better value?

        • +1

          I think he said Amex

If you compare the number of points for a physical gift card to its equivalent in e voucher it's 10% less. Well that's what I saw with Coles one anyway. Looking at the Coles $100 gift/voucher you have:
      -card is 20,900 pts
      -evoucher is 18,900 pts
      So roughly 10%

So basically the vouchers are what the cards used to cost before the jacked up the points needed to redeem

      • So can anyone confirm if 18,900 points for $100 evoucher already included 10% off?
Last time I redeem the point (1 or 2 years ago), it was 17,900 point for $100 Coles evoucher

  • Not the best offer on the block…

What is the best offer on the block??

    • Steve does 30 mins for about $30

      • i prefer linda does 60 mins for $200

  • Can we use evoucher at the store?

      evouchers for estores

  • While I have been using Citibank Signature for couple of years
The current rewards program is not impressive at all
Only earn 1 reward point per $1 in normal spending
and even No point when paying to Government charges

Only reason for me to keep my card is the "free for life" annual fee
and a free complimentary priority pass (2 entries per year)

    • +2

not the best reward program but can't complain when it gives me a priority pass for nothing

    • Citibank is only giving half a Qantas point per dollar for their cards. Waste of time.

    • How do you get to free complimentary priority pass; I tried contacting citibank they asked me to contact Priority pass and vice versa..

      • These details might be out of date, but try https://www.prioritypass.com/citibankaus and entering CSA1430911. You'll also have to enter your card details to validate the free membership.

        • its all depending on the credit card, some come with this benefit some not. if included, then you should receive letter from priority pass automatically when you first get your citi card, telling you how to register on PP website. then later on PP card will arrive. you cant just put any number and get the PP card…… some entry level citi card will not have PP attached i believe

I transferred all my Citi rewards points to velocity with 35% bonus last month.

    • Hi mate, was it some special promo by Citibank then?

      • +1

        Yes This one.

        • Thanks mate. Learning something new from OZB everyday :)

  • so if we sign up for the 100k rewards points offer for the platinum card how much value in e cards can we expect to get?

  • so say if i have 300k citibank points

    1. if i transfer it to velocity when there's a bonus, i get 150k velo points + 40% bonus = 210k
if i sell this at 1.1 ct, i get $2310

    compared with
    2. 300k as coles/woolies gc at 18900points / $100
    i get approx $1587 value.

    am i correct?

and how hard is it to sell velocity points at that price?

or is there better way to get money out of my citibank points? (no interest using ff points)
