  • Haha someone reported for insufficient quantity.
I'm guessing there are at least 10 Lego items left in stores just not a big range of highly desirable stuff.

    • my local only had star wars left

  • I'm guessing there won't be much of the CITY stuff about

    • Saw several City sets on clearance half price at my local big W today. 60160 and 60161. I'm guessing this is store by store though.

        What store is that?

  • I'm guessing prices are still silly hence the half price sale.

Anyone been to highpoint store, is there anything worth buying?

    • I was there last weekend and basically all the Lego had been cleared out just a few of the smaller sets left.

  • are board games still 30% off?

    • no 50% now

min 50% off max 70% off

  • Werribee store 2 weeks ago when Lego was only @ 20% off, most of the shelves were empty for Lego. About 20% of stock left. Sure it'd be pretty much all gone by now

    • I was going to drive there today and thought to call them before I made the trip. I'm glad I did because the ONLY Lego set they had left at all was a buildable figure from Rogue One.

  • Build a shrine to lego [not tomato paste] how weird

  • Didn’t lego buy back all the stock? So I was told

    • Maybe exclusives or big sets? I was in a store last weekend with 30% off and was still loads of city and even Jurassic park sets on shelves

I was in the fountain gate store yesterday…. there is very little Lego left. mainly super hero stuff and some star wars kits too.

    • Went there last week when it was the piddly 20%, it was fully stocked
blink an eye and its 50% off / but only shit sets left -_-

  • Was in the Aspley store on the weekend and lots were marked at 20% - 35% off but when going through the checkout turned out everything was at least 40% off. Don't think they bothered to change the sigage. Not much Lego left though.

There was very limited stock in Moore Park , NSW yesterday. Only sets left:

Star Wars First Order Heavy Scout Walker 75177 (several of these)
    SW Resistance Bomber 75188 (several)
SW buildable figure Sgt Jin Erso 75119 (several)
SW figure Baze Malbus 75525 (a few)
Sw figure Chirut Imwe 75524 (a few)
Ninjago Movie Quake Mech 70632 (four)
A few mighty micros - Supergirl, Thor and a pink box
and a bunch of those blocky head things.
There was a bin full of Ninjago Movie home movie packs (comprising a buildable phone stand, little stick for moving characters and a cardboard background).

Other than those, unless you want a trampoline or Nerf water pistol there was very little worth going for.

Is it definitely 50% off Lego? It was only 35% yesterday though most other things were 40-60% off.

    • I've noticed stores can vary a little, and Im guessing stores with less stock are discounted more agressively to aid in early closure.. Im pretty sure only big ugly batman sets and starwars are left.

    • probably too late for me now… but 50% off the Quake Mech would be nice (even with Toys R Us RRP)

      • You might be in luck as they hadn't repriced the Lego, just left the original shelf labels for the customers to work it out themselves - so it's ticketed price is $159.
It's by far the cheapest I can see this item, but even for $80 it's a pretty ugly set.

        • $80 is probably the cheapest this set have been…. not's the prettiest of sets but I'm a sucker for big Lego bots…. wish they had the other Ninjago bots or the Hulkbuster

    • Just called in at Big W and they have the SW First Order Scout Walker at $49, which is $1 cheaper than 50% off TRU price!

      • that would be right…. I'm not a Star Wars fan so maybe you have to be to appreciate this set (or the Resistance Bomber)…. they seems quite ugly to me….

      • yep I found some stuff that was just $4 cheaper even @ 50%. I was thinking only cow no wonder I didnt shop there.

  • so it moves from 40-60% to 50-70%

    • in practise you might spot 1 or 5 items that were bumped up a extra 10% but you may find some good stuff still at 30 - 35% as a exclusion..

  • There is no LEGO at Robina… in fact there is not much of anything. I’ve got three kids and walked out with nothing.

    • Isn't there a Big W, Kmart, Target, Myer and David Jones all at Robina?
However did Toys R Us last this long there!

      • Somehow my 3yo figured out, lets go shopping = visit TRU to play with the display train table only, then go to Kmart or Bigw to buy toys/lego since cheaper there.

  • Nothing much left at Aspley or Northlakes. No Lego. Both stores say closing in 10days but staff say that depends upon what stock is left.

    • Chadstone Vic had closing in 10 days on the front last night and the same today.

  • No Lego that I wanted at Frankston store today, but grabbed a couple of half-price classic Transformers

I think you will be hard pressed getting any lego at this stage unless it was misplaced somewhere in the store. They started flying off the shelves @ 35% which wasnt a competitive discount if you did your homework. I was eyeing the 8 brick storage boxes but they sold out @ $42 (30% discount) originally $69.95, u can buy the same thing on ebay with 5% discount code for $35 local pickup or $44 delivered.

Confirmed Knox and Chadstone Vic no lego
