I got a copy like that too!
Yeah i contacted them and they still haven't even been bothered to reply - I know it was only $10 but it's the principle - I got 'FIFA18' and Call Of Duty WWII from Amazon Prime Day deals for $10 and they were as they should be, new & sealed!!!
Mine too - I told them I wouldn't accept it and to go out back and get me another that wasn't damaged looking.
Some other poor person would have received it instead and the one I ended up with wasn't much better anyway.
They have no respect for gaming media…
Mine was delivered unfortunately - ironically I bought it with a gift card that they sent me for my previous (1st) order which they stuffed up also
I got that too. Fingerprints on disc and completely scratched up box.

My PC copy was sealed, surprisingly.
Mine was unsealed and covered in stickers (price sticker, EB Sale sticker etc.). But yeah, for $10 delivered, I really couldn't complain.
I received a sealed PS4 copy, but I can hear the disc floating around inside the box…

I got the PC version of Wolfenstein 2 and it was unsealed with the activation code thing folded in half. I was half expecting it to not activate. There's no reason why a PC version of a game would come unsealed, especially when they activate via code, not the disk.
Was same for me, and I picked it up in store. At least it activated, throw away the physical anyway

No it did. It's just that it activated by the code.
Mine was completely fine and sealed I guess people just got unlucky :/
No reason for it to come unsealed? Uhh, of course store stock will come unsealed. They always take the discs/codes out of the box and stick the empty case on the shelf, so they can't be stolen in store. They have to take it out of the sealed pack.
Huh, you made me check my copy again after this comment. The case is a little damaged but whatever. I only redeemed the code and chucked the whole thing in a drawer anyway.

I recieved wol2 it in a beautiful wrap or kind of creative envelop. But the Case or Disc weren’t looking that well treated. Am not putting that disc into my console. noway… yuk..

The same happened with Middle Earth, they packed it so tight that it split the cardboard on the edge of the slip cover.

Well said. Unfortunately in Australia sony did not mandate the ps4 seal of proof.it is well known ebgames and in jb Hi-Fi both practise shrink wrapping prowned games. Many ex employees on here and other forums have mentioned this

What fiasco? You mean unsealed open boxes? I tried to tell people in that thread to expect something like that as it’s been happening for honks but some wonderful ozb sod voted me down and now lots of people here are getting unsealed copies.
You would only know this if you shopped there often.
Its interesting.. 100% of the games i have bought from EB (online mostly) have come sealed.
I think it might be a different situation when its sent/picked up by a store as they store the discs in the drawer behind the counter and put the empty cases on the shelves.There is no “sealed” ps4 games in Australia they are all shrink wrapped without a seal. Other countries there is a seal u need to break with ps4 logo to prove its brand new
@Bargaingeek: Most people are referring that shrink wrap as the "sealed". Cause this isn't just Sony. The PC games dont have any hologram seal as such either

No, that they were cancelling orders of people who ordered online. Even people who ordered at 9:30am had their orders cancelled. People in that thread said they also went to EB and the staff said there were heaps in the warehouse too when they looked it up on the system.

Got an unsealed copy and the sleeve was pierced. Didn't realised til I got home but for $10 not too bothered.
But I order Ultra Sun fan edition delivered (comes with a poster and a coin) but got the post today and no poster and coin. Called customer service and they will try their best to see if any stores has it. Looks like they won't judging from the phone call. Ah EB games… So disappointing

Me and a mate just picked up a copy each and they were both brand new and sealed.
Picked up a copy while out shopping tonight. Told the guy to make sure it was sealed, he said "no problems", went out back and gave me a new sealed copy, happy days.
Hopefully don't have to buy off Amazon ever. Ozgameshop and EB price matching local stores for the win.
