Can vouch for this store - bought my Antler from them.

Very happy with price, delivery and quality of the product.

Antler has a 10 year warranty which is awesome.

The owner of this store also actively follows the forums and gets in touch with members to ask them what other kinds of deals they would like to see.

Would rather give my $$ to this shop than others.

      • I suggest you have more 2 wheel luggages in your catalog as the 4 wheel ones are only good when walking in the airport on a flat surface.

I can make a deal for this for you
          If you are interested

        • @luggageonline: I bought already from you happy customer :)
The 50cm is too small so I suggest you've the 60cm and bigger in stock for future purchases.

        • @dealhunt: isn't 60cm too big for some domestic flights?

        • Ohh ok :)
          Happy to know.
Well let's see what I can find in the market

        • +1

I think he wants it as a check in.

        • @josho9: I think for a domestic flight a carry on is enough, of course depending on what is your plan and how many people you are.
But for international flights I think the 66 cm is the best size.

        • +4

@dealhunt i just pull the 4 wheeler behind me like a 2 wheeler if it's on a rougher surface (eg carpet) not sure the 2 wheeler would make a difference?

        • +1

@mistermr6: The 2 wheels are usually bigger so smoother pulling, they don't flip around, they are stronger so they last longer.
However, there are some expensive 4 wheel trolleys which have the wheels' frame made of aluminium also they are bigger.

        • @mistermr6:

yes exactly! hardcase is great for packing cells. Our family of 5 went to NZ earlier this mth using 4 x cabin cases. We use the zipped part for our ski gears. It’s like a packing cell. Only carry ons for a 12 day trip in winter and ski gear.. also meant everything fit into an economical car. With room for shopping too.

We rarely use our med and large suitcases. It’s better to buy a cabin for everyone + backpacks. Our kids can even fit everything into cabin luggage for school camps.

We prefer Antler.. long lasting and good quality. Bought one! thanks

I also have the Antler Juno and Cyberlite. All great.

Any deal for the large one?
    Large:

    Weight 3.7 kg
    Capacity 94L
    Dimension 76cm x 50.5cm x 30cm

  • Hard case or soft ? What’s best for carryon ?

    • +1

I have both for diff needs but I like having 2 packing sections of the hard. the zipped up section, you can fit a lot. It’s like having a packing cell.

  • A good price. I was in the market for a replacement small luggage case though I need an expandable soft case with two wheels. The 4 wheels just don't last as long. My AU$50 Victorinox 4 wheel, 57x37x27 expandable soft case managed a solid 6yrs before one wheel finally split whereas the el cheapo Kmart small 2 wheel I bought 11yrs ago (given to my brother) is going. Both have seen regular use between my work and personal trips.

Something like this one… a bit smaller than what I'm after but it looks to be the only 2 wheel, expandable soft case in your line up:

    https://luggageonline.com.au/collections/soft-suitcases/prod…

Any chance of a deal on this one?

I'd consider getting 3 if you were somehow able to get close to my Victorinox's price. Would consider getting more if you could match it.

Yes I can do a good deal for them

  • Could anyone advise what's considered ultra light for a cabin bag?
Prices range anywhere from $19 at Kmart to hundreds and hundreds for a similarly sized bag.
The Kogan range are very affordable, weigh about 2.2kg, and for a cabin bag I don't need extreme durability given that it's in my hands all the time not the throwers.

We just travelled OS and only took cabin baggage. We were overweight on the way back and it turned out my wife's cabin bag weighs about 4kg of the 7kg allowance! Lucky we could redistribute and there were no fees, but not planning on making that mistake again…..

    • +1

It's usually 2.3kg or less from what I've seen.

The Kogan stuff look OK but their 2 wheel designs are limited and the one I did find the wheels didn't look like they were all too good (it was $104-ish for a 5 piece set). Strandbag's Lanza range use to be pretty good too but they've got from 2 to 4 wheels.

I'd probably consider this Samsonite model for your needs:

      https://luggageonline.com.au/products/72-hours-2

Thinking about it some more, this might be a good alternative to the other Samsonite I was looking at. Wonder what sort of price the rep can do on these?

      • Yep that one looks pretty light!
        1.5kg.

I think rep mentioned a Samsonite 72 hrs deal above?

  • Looking for one purple medium and one teal medium hi-shine, but teal is $150 compared to $129 at Bagworld. I’d rather just do one transaction / delivery etc.

    • I replied to you. I can give you a good offer in the Teal and the purple Medium

      • Any chance of a deal on the small teal ones?

        • +1

Yes. I will text you in private. I just have three pieces

        • @luggageonline:
          Many thanks :)

Looks great and delivered so quickly!

For my reference and other OzBargainers, I'm in the same state as the seller. That said, paid 10:22am Wed, delivered 9:27am Thu via Australia Post :)

        • @foundit:
          Hahaha
          do you need more?
          or the medium Teal?

        • @luggageonline:
Tempting but I think I should get more use out of my existing medium size case first …
