  I have work out how the bonus points work. Basically the points is cap at 5000 points per transaction and the bonus points is calculated based on this.

  i.e:
  - 10x bonus points means 9x bonus points plus your standard points rate (1pt/$2 spend for non-plus and 1pt/$1 for plus member).
  - 20x bonus points means 9x bonus points plus your standard points rate (1pt/$2 spend for non-plus and 1pt/$1 for plus member).

  Which means if you are an ebay plus member the total points you can get for this promotion is 100,000pts (5000 + 95000pts).

  Ebay/Flybuys system is having a dodgy bug, if the order is cancelled, they will take back the bonus points at the wrong amount, which is calculated based on 19x total transaction amount instead of the cap amount.

    Its not exactly true. I am waiting for my points to be finalised as I feel a bit guilty for gathering much points. 99,987 flybuys points Redeemable for
    $499.94

    I legitimately cancelled some of the orders I made on the 30th. (I forgot to click on the promo and eBay Plus) so got 1pt= $2
    I called the eBay store and they cancelled it and I reordered… The below happened and still no reconciliation yet.

      Your order is still under $5000 so you won't see the cap, the dodgy bonus pts clawback only happened if your order is over $5000 and this only happened with the bonus points. So your record doesn't mean anything especially the cancelled order without any bonus points.
