I agree with what you think but what's the reason for the neg?
This is ddr2 though, some older laptops are limited to 1GB per slot, like 915 chipset. 10 bux shipped seems good.
Netbooks… (older) Intel Atom ones.

your netbook only has 1 slot? thought that netbook already came with 1gb ram?
pretty sure it has one (spare) slot and comes with 1GB RAM on chipset/soldered on.
Be careful depending on the model of s10e, not all of them are soldered on. Best of luck
also as long as this memory will scale down to 667mhz you will be okay as they only run at 667mhz, you should be right though
Update: it works fine. Installation took all of 2 minutes.
To think they (MLN) wanted to charge me $49 so they could do it when I first bought this netbook!

Received mine yesterday.
Standard envelope sticky taped closed (not very well) - 60c stamp!
Was sealed with an "Strontium RAM" stickytape - claiming it was 4GB DDR3 at first ;)
(But removing the tape, the actual sticked showed it was 1GB DDR2 800MHz as claimed).Working fine in my Lenovo S10e.
With all due respect, who needs 1 GB SODIMM's… at any price… these days…?
