  • It might be my incompetency, but where is the redirect link to Audible?

    • Just ctrl+f Audible from the linked page.

    • scroll down and find audible. It's underneath other subscriptions.

      • Yes and then what do I do after that.

        • Click "Get Cashback"

Are you not logged in? May need to sign up…..

        • @Mr ClipIt: Yes I have but it won't let me submit a claim because I haven't clicked on it.

        • @hogwarts: then click on the "get cash back" button and then click continue.

  • OP, what did you put in your 'purchase amount' in your cashback claim? They're not letting me leave it blank.

    • either $0 or $10 I can't remember

    • I used $14.95

  • Thanks OP.

What email address do you put in for the claim? You amazon email or your topcash email address?

    • Immediately lodge a claim:

How? Where is the customer care section?

Found it. Here's the link for anyone else who is having trouble finding it.

    https://www.topcashback.com/account/enquiries/missingcashbac…

    • I don't see Audible Membership in the 'Select an offer' drop down menu.

      nvm, found it.

  • Out of interest, how do they pay your Paypal account? As friends and family? Wouldn't you be charged a US$4.99 international Paypal fee?

    • I'm more confused as to - how do they know what my paypal account is? Nothing in OP's instructions involved providing paypal details

/edit/ I guess I'll set that up myself in anticipation of getting the money. However next question - I used a referal link and it definitely showed "your referred was someonesname" but there's no sign I'm getting the referral bonus in my account

      • You set that up when you are looking to cash out. If yo look under Account and Cashout you can enter details there.

        • Ahh ok and cannot set this up until you have at least 0.01c in the balance

  • what do you put for purchase amount? $0?

edit: will you still get the cashback if you cancel straight away?

  • +2

I doubt audible will approve this now after getting a flood of cashback requests and cancelled trials. But thanks for sharing OP

  • At Amazon: "Sorry an error occurred during your purchase". Clicked start trial again and it worked.

where do i get the order number from? its asking for it in the claim

    • +3

check ur email, from amazon audible

  • How are we able to receive the $15 when the payout tab is greyed out, saying 'that 'the minimum amount required for a payout is $0.01 which has not been reached
However I have managed to fill out my paypal email in the payout box under the tab 'My Profile'

    Thanks

    • You have to wait until you get credits approved. You cant payout until then. Could be a number of weeks.

You should be getting some cash from the referral. You did sign up using the referral link right?

On what basis are we lodging a 'claim' against the merchant after cancelling a free trial?
It sounds slightly unethical. Aren't you effectively ripping them off via a loophole in Amazon's systems?

    • +3

Top cash back explicitly states to make a claim once signed up as their tracking doesn’t work.

Audible believes that some proportion of customers will stay subscribed after a free trial.

After considering the costs of acquiring new customers (e.g. advertising) and the likelihood that you will remain subscribed, Audible considers this to be worth $10USD.

If you think the service has value, you don't cancel and everybody wins. If you cancel then Audible simply adds your cancellation to their calculations, and you keep the $10.

Not a loophole, a genuine business decision.

      • I have signed up for so many free trials and have forgot to cancel twice and paid an extra month. Shame on me I know, but I didn't mind, I've had so many free credits, then cancellation credits to keep me on an account etc. that I have well got my moneys worth.

    • Only unethical if you dont use the service. I intend to download and use the credits given as part of the trial. If i wont like it i will cancel.

  • “Upon completion of your subscription service, you must visit our Customer Care section and Lodge a Missing Claim.”

Do you have to lodge a missing claim soon after the subscription or wait a month at least to lodge a missing claim?

    • Okay I see it now. Immediately lodge a claim as you stated.

      • yep lodge a claim and then wait a month

  • Hi I received this from Top Cashback this morning:

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the message.

I have looked into this for you and it can take 7 days for orders to track through into your account.

I would recommend that you allow this time. If after this period the order hasn't tracked then please get back in touch with us.

I hope this has helped and any further questions are welcome.

    Thanks,
    Gary

Did you have to wait too? Or did they add it for you straight away after you lodged the claim?

    • +2

As I said in the post:

Wait (for me it took over a month but they still paid after I had cancelled my subscription)

      • +1

Gotcha. I just thought that you submitted a claim then it appeared in your pending transactions then after a month it was paid for. Lets wait and see I guess :)

  • does it work with referral link?

    • Yes.

Click the referral and sign up and then follow the deal link and do the deal.

      • +1

How long does it take for the referral credit to be shown in your account? I used your referral link and it said you were referred by ClipIt but i don't see the account credit anywhere? Does it take some time? It's been 2 days since i signed up.

        • +2

you only get referral credit after you've earned $10.

        • +3

          @Mr ClipIt:

Ok thanks. I just thought the account would mention $10 credit is pending. It didn't mention anything so i was unsure if the referral was successful. Thanks.

  • I received 6 duplicate emails today:

"Your missing cashback claim for Amazon Subscriptions (01 Aug 18) has been updated.

This claim was previously 'On Ice' meaning it couldn't be submitted to the store until now ( 1 ) days after purchase.
Unless you hear otherwise, you don't currently need to do anything, we will submit your claim to the store.

If you have now received this cashback payout, or have cancelled the product/service then please can you close this claim in the Customer Care section of our website.

    We'll keep you updated,

    http://www.topcashback.com/
    www.topcashback.com"

I cancelled the subscription while it was "on ice".

    • I cancelled the subscription while it was "on ice".

      Yep same with me.

    • Man i got 9 duplicate emails yesterday. I also cancelled my subscription a few days ago just in case i forgot towards the end of the month.

      • I tried to cancel by logging in to audible, but it said I was not enrolled, despite me receiving a 'welcome to audible' email with an order confirmation number.

        Really painful process.

  • So we should wait before cancelling?

    • if you like, shouldn't change anything.

Just as long as you cancel it before a month so you're not charged (unless you want it).

  • Double cashback today, does it apply to this deal?

    • I don't think so.

  • -1

How do you unjoin? I joined changed my mind.

I signed up with a referral but how do I gain the extra $10? Though unlike the OP I haven't read where this is a thing for the newbie?

BTW, I received my payout today. Thanks OP!

    • So I just checked it all out and it seems the referral deal has changed since I signed up (over a year ago) and it's now only for the referrer. Very sorry I will update post immediately.

Edit: Can't edit post anymore so have reported it to be fixed.

  • Haven't really seen any sign of anything that this is going to payout. I have the email from TopCashback reflecting they recorded my click through but I have nothing to reflect a pending cashback from Amazon/Audible or the manually lodged missing claim which I'm certain I completed - but now uncertain if I completed it correctly.

There's nothing showing in Open or Closed Claims under my account

Anyone else get the cashback on this one so I can know whether it's worth the effort to pursue or just give up?

Ahh well I've just raised a claim and this one is definitely appearing in Open claims. Suspiciously the status it is in is called 'Ready to Submit' which I can only assume is something for TopCashback to do as I don't see any submit button or other way to further process the claim beyond giving them a 'nudge' or sending TC a message.

    • There's nothing showing in Open or Closed Claims under my account

You have to lodge a claim to get it.

As it says in the description:

      • Log in / sign up to Top Cashback
      • Go to the amazon subscriptions top cash back page (linked)
      • Follow the link for an Audible subscription
      • Sign up for an audible one month free trial
      • Immediately lodge a claim:
      • I said 'the manually lodged missing claim which I'm certain I completed' which was meant to indicate I had previously filed a claim.

        • Oh sorry I didn't read it properly ):.

Check here and here, here, here and then search through your emails. If there's nothing, idk.

        • @Mr ClipIt:

No worries! The short answer is I didn't have an email for when I thought I had made the claim ~July 31 but I do have one for the claim I lodged this afternoon. Lets hope I didn't miss a window of opportunity. Thanks for your help
