I'm doing the same but with a straight shaft! gets messy .. any excuse to buy something new I guess!
Of course they are no bloody good.
If you think that using a line trimmer is too hard, then this edger is DEFINITELY too difficult for you.
It's not that using a line trimmer is hard, it's that a bant shaft is unwieldy.
Wish I spent extra and got a straight shaft.

Had one. Total garbage, the amount of effort it takes negates the savings. Either use a line trimmer or better yet an electric edger. I've got the one in the link below, 3 years of constant use, still going strong

Have one of these. They do the job with a lot of effort.
I found Half Moon Edger works better if you are after a hand tool.
Using my "common sense", which seems to be sorely lacking in some parts around here: I'm guessing that the answer is no. It's no good.
If it was good, everyone would have one and it wouldn't cost $7.
So something cheap or on sale can never be good.
