Cut the middleman and just give us $30 coupon.

  • I got $20 voucher as a new user
Can I combine $20 plus $30 for my first ride?

    • Hey @ChampofAus - you are not able to 'stack' the offer. However, this offer is best in market
Enter Groupon Voucher code in place of any existing pre-applied Ola promo code in the 'Apply Coupon' field on the bottom section of the app

  • Ola are dodgy as crap - I used a referral code as a new user and it didn't credit to my account for reason. They told me there was no way they could manually apply credit to my account and there was no way I could cancel my Ola account and create a new one with the referral code. Avoid.

    • Good info. Rideshare drivers seem to like Ola - I have been told they charge/take the lowest fees/cut. But sounds like they suck on the customer service front. Disclaimer: have never used Ola, just relaying what I have been told by drivers.

    • That's a lousy experience but the opposite happened to me. Caught an Ola a few months ago into the city and back and had from memory a 50% off first ride code that didn't work. Emailed to complain and got a full refund on both rides, and another code I could use for a whole month.

So while my experience was great, it's a shame they can't extend the same level of service to everyone who had a problem with a legitimate discount code.

      Identical experience here.

  • Tried to use them twice in Melbourne (near CBD) - both times no drivers available. Waste of time right now.

  • Tried to use them twice in the last fortnight in Canberra to-from the airport. From my house in the south, no drivers available/responded. From the airport, app said that the area wasn't serviced. Waste of time.

  • Here’s my experience with Ola. Bought Groupon voucher $5 to use in Melbourne Northern Suburbs to airport. Tried to get a ride at 4.30am, no cars available. Ended up using Taxify with free $20 code. Only cost $7 out of pocket. Tried Ola again in Qld, Surfers on my partners phone. Downloaded app and got a free $20 credit. Driver came within 5min. Great service here in Qld. Total cost $0 . Will try Ola back in Melb in a few days, otherwise Groupon will need to refund the voucher.
