I noticed that as well although I put in an order for a coffee and then noticed in my cart it was a free coffee. So maybe for the three next coffee orders you place you get a free one? Bit confusing…
Its very confusing. Especially how, for whatever reason, some places can order alternate hot drinks, and even iced drinks, yet other places can only get simple coffee .
I discovered today, the lunch $5 credit, doesn't seem like it is applied to order, but then when clicked through on $5 purchase of banana bread, it went though.
1 way to be 100% sure you wont be charged, while trying to get these freebies, DONT ADD PAYPAL OR CARD .

Yeah just realized. It first said these codes are for free coffees so I thought when I add a coffee in cart and it will be free.

And the initial phone verification, stays in place when you log in later (with different sim,phone,etc) .
Therefore, you can set up a few 'new accounts' in advance. And dont forget to refer yourself, from your main account ;)
