Pencil, really cool, doesn't need electricty as no batteries, and can write at any angle unlike a pen, especially handy for writing on timber, plasterboard where crayon leave too thick a line.
One of those things you still take to exams along with pens, my son wasn't even allowed a digital watch in one of his exams, analog only, probably for fear of cheating.
