As mentioned it's an older model (I brought mine in 2012), but a great vacuum. The ultimate 'dustbuster'. :-)
It gets lots of use in my household and will continue to for a while yet.

should be free delivery via shipster (i think there is free if u use paypal to signup)

  • Yea, I have this and probably use this more on a daily basis than my main Miele C3 vacuum, just so convenient for a quick cleanup, Miele does the weekly/fortnightly real vacuum.

  • Folks, I have one too also from 2012 but haven't been too impressed with the battery. If I put it on full power mode, from a full charge, it keeps switching off every 10-15 seconds.

    How have your's fared?

    • I have the DC35 from 2012 just started having the same issue, 10-15 sec run time. Have you looked into getting a replacement battery. I've seen they are on eBay for quite cheap but haven't done any research yet.

    • My DC44 from same era also has similar problem, but a lot more frequent now and does in on normal power too. Basically unusable so I recently traded up to a V8.

  • Can you connect an arm extension and other accessories from other dysons to this to use it as a normal vacuum?

    • Yes. I use the extension rod on my Animal V6, also the motorised floor head works well.

    • yes, but a couple of things to note:
      - only accessories from the older models will fit (v6 and older)
      - Dyson sell the stick for $50 and the motorised head for $100, so it's not cost effective to buy the hand vac then add the extras. I think Dyson make it difficult to buy too (you probably need to provide a serial number for a stick version).

  • No add to cart option? Or just me?

EDIT: Chat rep just told me it's out of stock.

  • A great find. Just bought one from Joyce Mayne with Shipster free trial.

  • FYI back in stock. Just bought one :)

Hope I made the right decision coz I really didn't want to spend more than $70 on a hand vac, but this is a Dyson…
