Wow so much marketing bullshit haha. "red and gray color scheme offers an exclusive look", "newly tuned acoustic network". At least we know where the money goes.

What you think just anyone can buy earphones that a red and grey? Hell no! There's an exclusive club with very strict entry requirements.

  • I have the clear version of these. Coming from the MEE Audio M6 Pro, these are excellent earphones. I use them on-stage and for personal listening. The cable has kevlar weaved into it for durability - they should last a very long time. But yes, they're pricey.

    • I have the SE215SE Blue with the bluetooth module. Is it worth upgrading from that? I absolutely love the comfort and fit on those.

      • I haven't used the SE215's, but on paper, the SE215's have a single, dynamic driver vs the SE535's triple armature drivers. I'd imagine they are going to produce very different sounds. Someone asked the same question a while a go, have a look at this thread: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/shure-215-vs-535-limited-edi…

  • You need a high end Hi-Res audio player for that.

    • With $480 earphone better get a good player with Hi-Res audio music.

      • don't waste your money, I've had a few and my conclusion is that unless it has balanced output (and you have balanced cables), DAPs are not worth the hassle. I've settled on the fiio x5iii for the good UI(android) and balanced output for my customs. Unless your phone is really terrible, but in that case just get something like a xiaomi mi7, zte axon 7, this year's nokia phones, or lg's g6/v20/v30 etc.

        • Do you have HI-RES audio on it?

Not shure why this is so hot. I used to have these and while they are good they ain't worth $480 compared to what you can get now a days. I had the Audiofly AF180s after this and they are better and can be had for far less when on offer but even then I wouldn't buy those again either. I would just get some of the good $50-100 iems coming from China.

  • whats the different between LTD and the ormal edition?
