Was walking past the Sony Store @ Parramatta Westfield and saw everything was on sale. I only managed to snap a photo of the XM2's and the A7 II. There were speakers, TV's and a load of cameras on sale. The rep said he would take an extra $5 off the XM2 and would work on the price with anything I bought. Not sure if this is an offer at other Sony stores, It's part of their "Winter Sale" but it's not on sale online. Rep said Chatswood and Castle Hill stores had the same deals.

I haven't been able to find the XM2's in JB or anywhere. They seem to have stopped stocking them, Rep said it's because of supply issues but I'm not sure if it means a new model is coming. If anyone can shed any light on this I'd be greatly appreciative! I've been torn between QC35 and XM2 but I'm leaning towards the XM2 because of sound quality - if you can link me to a better deal I'll be ever so grateful!

  You can regularly get the headphones for close to $350 so this is seriously expensive.

  Sorry OP but 1000xm2 has been ~$320 more than once and is currently available at ~$400 in the ebay plus sale.

  I wasn't trying to show this as being the lowest price. I've been looking at these for about a month and this is the cheapest they've been - thought I'd share it for others in the same shoes as myself :)

    They've been at this price for a couple of months at Addicted to Audio, but I do agree that the "if it's not the cheapest price ever, don't post it" attitude from some is a bit ordinary.

  I think it is the price difference. If it is close to cheapest people don’t mind, but not this far off.
