There's two trains of thought here.. some people think you just post a 'bargain' and its up to the buyer to do the research and work out if its a good buy.

Then there's people who want people to spoon feed them.

I feel the above is pretty obvious, its a 12v car battery charger. Of course it has a 240v power lead. It has an internal temperature probe that tracks its own internal temperature, not the battery.

I dont expect the OP to be an expert when they post. Nor do I expect the person reading the post to be absolute idiot. If you dont understand what it is then its not for you?

There is one person writing, and a lot of people reading.
I expect the one to make a little effort to save the many from having to decode it.

Anyway, 2.7A is too slow for a car battery.
Is it intended for a mobility scooter? No, still too low power. Mabye a motorcycle battery?

A 6A charger is from less than $20 on eBay.
        This is no deal.

It's sometimes better to have a lower current charger, for smaller capacity batteries. 2.7A is fine for a car battery. It will just take a little longer.

        • A lot of mobility scooters are 24 volt.

  • I got this, does the job charging 12v car battery using ac 240v plug

I recommend the more expensive model that costs $42.30 if you have a vehicle that needs a top up on a more regular basis. I have one for my old Prelude and have the quick charge clips permanently attached to my battery so I just need to clip it in for an overnight charge and not have to play with the clamps.

That is a 900mA trickle charger.
Will not achieve much overnight on a car. Maybe good if you are away for a few months, to stop it running down.

Ideal for maintaining infrequently used vehicles such as motorcycles, jet skis & ride on mowers.

      • Yeah. The one I got was this which is only 1600mA but it does the job for me. Not sure the mA outage the one posted by the OP is though for a good comparison.

Your defeating the purpose of this thread, which is a cheap $27 charger….

  • Interior light was left on and battery drained. Got this 3 weeks ago at the same price. Charged my car from 2.1v to 12.1v overnight (~14hr). Worked fine, just a standard dumb charger that's willing to charge from a low voltage.
