  Silicon cases look and feel good but attracts dust and not easy to slip in and out of pocket. Also bottom upper left and right side pieces can be easily broken. I would prefer leather.
  But each to their own.

  Apple's cases conveniently omit the lip around the bottom - just the place where the phone would hit the pavement and crack ;)

    It allows iPhones to connect to a lightning to 16 pin adapter for old devices though. That's why I prefer this kind of cases.
