    Just wondering, what's 'HUMP DAY'?

    • The day you are officially allowed to do following

To grind one's genitalia in a press-and-release pattern against a particular object or surface; usually associated with an inanimate object.

    • Wednesday. It's the day between the weekends. It's all downhill from here.

  • Lol hump day.

Only applies less than 4% off my purchase of Australia Zoo tickets, $5.53 off $165.90, maybe false advertisement

Could be applicable to one item at a time. So you may need to do few seperate transactions to get 10% off. Didn’t test but I assume that would be the case.

      • Great point, I’ll try separately tonight

      • Yes this is the case. I've hit this "problem" before. When I quizzed customer support, they merely pointed to their T&Cs re: that exact limitation + proposed doing multiple separate transactions. Completely un-Australian!

  • I assume that you still earn 15% cashback on your phone if you install the shopback app, but not the groupon app, and use the shopback app to open groupon, and buy through the groupon mobile site? Terms and conditions don't mention any problem with this, but there's a "earn cash back in app" footer in every page, which when you click it wants to install the groupon app. It's really not very clear.

In the end I did install both apps, but once the purchase was completed immediately uninstalled both as the permission requests are just out of control (e.g. why does a shopback app need my precise location, FFS? Or to retrieve the running apps? or to run at startup? Or to view network connections (not just talk to internet itself)? Or to prevent the device from sleeping?)

      Hi nickj,

To answer your first question, ShopBack app to Groupon app, or ShopBack app to Groupon mobile site is fine.

For your second question, location/running apps is for the Rides section in ShopBack's app where you can look up ride sharing prices without having to actually switch to the actual ride sharing app, and the rest are to help out with push notifications.
