Decent soundbar - near previous low prices:

I've been watching for a deal on it for a while and picked it up today. Got it reduced to $190 in store.

Currently $298 at TGG and JBs.

I have this and love it. Can't comment on its performance against others but is well worth the $190. In celebration of the 27th birthday of Ten by Pearl Jam I had it absolutely cranked last night with no noticeable drop in quality. It's nice having the wireless sub too (which is probably standard by now)

    Atmos?

$198 is nowhere near previous low prices of $158 at Bing Lee which is 20% difference.

You can argue the "XY missing from model #", but there is no difference in tech specs as discussed in the comments and I bought one during that promo.

Regardless of the price, this is a good budget soundbar to replace the sound that TV speakers outputs.

This is indeed a bargain to me LuckyDrew. Went out and bought one this arvo on your advice. Very pleased with the performance for the price. Plenty of grunt for me. The sound bar profile meshes in perfectly with my 65"TV.

    Thank you for your post.

    • Happy to help. I'm really liking it so far. Big improvement on the tv speakers especially for music.

  • I have a cheapo sound bar and I don't like what it does to dialogue on 5.1 movies, whatever. Music and and sound effects drown out whatever would normally be coming out of the centre speaker.

    How does this one compare?

No idea. We don't watch a lot of movies and primarily got it to stream music through without turning the tv on. I'd assume it has something to do with being 2.1 but trying to recreate 5.1? Sort of mashing it all together?

Goes good for voice. I bought one to go on my cheap bedroom telly with terrible inbuilt speakers. It even has a "speech" mode that cranks the treble.

Any ideas how this stacks up against YAS 107? I know the Yamaha doesn’t come with the subbie. But how is the sound quality?

    • Good point just got Yamaha 107 for $220 from TGG.

      • What’s the usual price ?

        • Around $350 for the newer YAS-108B.

  • $359 for YAS, but stancash have it for $249. Used that to get a price match.

  • Hi OP
Just wondering if you are able to share the image of your receipt to get a price match ? Also, great if you could turn on PM.

  • Thanks OP.
