  N00b question…any idea if I can use ExpressVPN with this? I'd rather not have to subscribe to another VPN if I can help it but the box looks useful.

  If you are just looking to view regional blocked IPTV sites and apps, just get a Smart DNS service. Cheap and easy to setup. Search Getflix, Unotelly etc

  That suggests that they store customer creds in plain text. I would trust them or this device.

  You would be better off buying a TP Link TL-WR802N and putting openWRT on it. It will work with most VPN providers.

  Hi - This box is hard coded with VanishedVPN config. It requires a VanishedVPN subscription. We have a solid solution for unblocking all popular services such as USA Netflix, BBC player etc, and our subscriptions are amongst the cheapest compared to other providers (note, our prices are in AUD, compared to most other providers who quote in US$).
