    This looks good, & a great price, but I'm a bit wary about 1-day.com b/c of this-http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/759421#
    Anyone bought from 1-day?

    • I can't see anything on that link which would be of concern. I bought a basic item (a set of aluminium drink bottles) before from 1-day with no problems, but that was something which was unlikely to create any. Electrical goods are another matter of course.

I also bought one of these sewing machines so we'll see how it goes. I have a reasonable amount of faith in Singer's warranty policy regardless of whether 1-day can be trusted or not!

EDIT: I just saw this comment: "I thought the ad said there were 2 adapters for $14.95 however I have only received one, and the invoice says 1 for $14.95. Can anyone clarify this?" This is a good reason to print out a copy of the web page to make sure you have your ducks in a row. I had to get a refund from COTD for a broadly similar reason (they advertised an item as having 2 inputs whereas it only had 1, and thankfully I'd printed a copy of the page I bought it from to prove it)

  • Ok, I got one. Let's wait & see. Thank you, morini.

  • Anybody received theirs yet?

Also has anybody received the second email telling you that it has been shipped with tracking details?

I just sent them an inquiry about my order.
I'm still waiting for mine, 7 days now and not even shipped email confirmation.

    Anybody?

  • I got mine today, all good. It's a very nice machine. Took 9 days from NZ, & I got 2 emails for confirmation. Very happy. I'd buy from 1-day again, no worries.

  • i never got the 2nd email, but it should be OK now.

They replied to my inquiry, saying it was shipped. Also gave me a tracking number so all seems well.

I have bought from 1-day before and would again.

  • Mine just came in today, all good.
Now i just have to learn how to use it :p
