not as good as previous deal

      Correct!

  • Not as good as this either, but I guess if people want to jump boat now, this is still adequate and wait what happens in the next 6 months to stack.

My sibling just wants to get off the optus $30 prepaid.

  • My dad pays $40 for a “business plan” with Optus. It includes 512MB of data!! What reputable companies use the Optus network? I really need to change his plan so he stops getting ripped off..

    • Usurious.

      • Yeah. He’s been on it for years, I think he had one of the iPhone 4’s with the plan but has never changed it/got a new phone (cause he’s old and not tech savvy). Didn’t know how much he was paying until the other day

  • I had bought the earlier 180 days plan and had a nightmare with them as porting for 2 days didn’t happen they kept saying there in an outage with the porting service and couldn’t confirm by when it will work. Worst customer service in the world I would say plus which company can run like this…..It was a bloody nightmare as I was almost with an active mobile service for 2 days got fed up of the wait and asked them to cancel the port finally and refund my money. Back with amaysim at least have an active service.

    • Took my wife 5 minutes to port from Optus. Your experience is obviously not common or they'd be out of business. Perhaps you made a mistake in the activation process?

      • Seems like there was an outage, after the outage previous requests were queued while more recent post-outage ports were immediate. whirlpool thread

      • Mate the 5 mins experience is not common with Lebara…am sure you will realise the pathetic customer service they have very soon…it’s unbelievable for a company to have porting system down for days…am sure they will be out of business soon

        • They're owned by Vodafone, who have a bit of international experience in the field.

  • Hi All, Our sincere apologies for the outage last week which impacted porting requests. The issue has been resolved now and all requests have been processing. If you are still facing any issue with your request kindly share your details via private message or send us an email on [email protected]. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

    • People be really careful making any Lebara purchases.

I really regret purchasing the Lebara plan as all I have faced is problems and waste of time right from purchase 1. didn’t receive the pin for days and only after follow up was sent it.
      2. porting didn’t work for days again because of their outage and hence i had to cancel it and ask for refund.
      3. now refund is sent back to a gift card which I had used for payment and had disposed as the balance was over.

Not sure how to get the refund back. All they tell me is send email which I did but it looks like I have lost $99 and don’t even have the plan.

Over everything their customer service is hopeless. Haven’t seen a company more ridiculous then this. Hopefully the Lebara person here will do something to resolve it or call me on 0409417664
