Whats the similarity between dating a fat chick and a scooter?

They're heaps of fun to ride till your mates see you.

Gold Medal for you, but that's not always true. When I was riding a MEARTH scooter, hot Guys always come say: Hi, where did you get this scooter.

      • -1

I'm guessing 50% of the time, they're probably interested in the scooter.

        • The other 50% are flaming lemon party goers?

  • was in Sydney on the weekend and was surprised at how many people use these to get around

    • +1

A friend of mine in Sydney got $1000+ fine and demerit points for driving unregistered vehicle on footpath.

      • Interesting, i guess if they see people they will book them but dont actively search for them. I guess you get off lightly if you dont have a license to dock demerits off.

  • According to your own blog you linked to: "You'll often see a maximum range listed on your scooter's specs."

Then why is this nowhere in the specs you list for your scooters?

    • Bottom of the sales page above Q&A they have a specification comparison list.

      • Ah, yes. Cheers! It was a picture too so didn't come up in my "Range" ctrl+f.

      • Thank you for pointing that out. You are so careful on details.

  • Motor wattage?
    Battery chemistry?

    • 250-350W, Premium LG Battery. (Sorry I only know this and I don't want to ask the tech nerds in the company or they will talk to me how awesome the battery is for whole day)

      • Why cant you put this in the comparison chart??
Instead of "STRONG" and "SUPER STRONG"??

    Skid Resistant

    Lame, doesn't even do skids

    • Skid-Resistant, not skid-proof. Will only prevent skids up to 1.5m or for 30 minutes.

    • Fast and furious? I like the ROCK

  • better than the xiaomi?

    • Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better

Could I have more information on what an "aero-grade aluminium alloy" is, exactly?

Looks awfully similar to this one at almost half the price
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BULLET-300W-10-4Ah-Electric-Scoo…

    • There are some products try to look like a MEARTH, they might look a bit similar, but they won't perform as the same. Not to mention some 'carbon' are not real carbon fibre. That are like plastic, you will understand the difference once you feel it.

  • +4

Remember that the fine is $607 if you are caught riding one of these in a public space.

Oh, and this is a generic 'Carbon Fiber scooter' out of China.

  • How long is the warranty?

    • Its 1 Year AU local warranty.

  • You don’t need a license to ride these at all.
Nanny State occupants are just fearful that’s all.

    • hahahaha

    • +2

You do not need one because even if you do you are still riding an unregistered motor vehicle in almost all states

  • I've ridden the Lime one in the States, are these the same?

    • Similar, they work similarly in a way. The difference is, MEARTH is more premium.

  • The laws in Vic are crazy. Surely heaps of mobility scooter have more then 200w and can go faster then 10kmph?

    • That's true. Heapssssss of (I think)

  • +1

Unfortunately looks like it cant be used on QLD pavements.
    Google search shows rules are:-

Electric motor attached of 200 watts output or less.
The motorised foot scooter must not be capable of travelling faster than 10km/h on level ground.

    Reference: https://www.qld.gov.au/transport/safety/rules/wheeled-device…

    • "A motorised foot scooter is a scooter which has an electric motor attached of 200 watts output or less. The official mark on the motor will verify the wattage. The motorised foot scooter must not be capable of travelling faster than 10km/h on level ground."

So what do they call this then? When you exceed 200w and 10km/h? It calls it motorised foot scooter when below… it also didn't specifically say it's illegal? Very confusing… Most scooters around all goes above 10km/h.

      • You are right, most of them goes above 10km/h

  • This was tempting, but having just reviewed the motorised scooter rules for VIC:
it's classed as a "motor vehicle" and can't be used on the footpath. Ridiculous rules by VicRoads, how do we get this injustice changed?

    • I guess we can start a protest lol.

  • Came here just for the comments haha. Starting to feel sorry for anyone trying to sell electric scooters or skateboards on here.

    • Why?

      • -1

Every time I see one of these on here there is like a million people yelling about how they are all illegal and you WILL be fined or that the battery sucks or something else. Feeling sorry for you guys, just trying to sell your stuff.

  • Why have you had the Pro model discounted twice, but no deals on the Lite models ?

Also, do you have shoulder carry bags these would fit inside when folded ?
