PLENTY10

Hi all.

This is my first time to post a deal. Not the best offer right now. But for a RX580 with a decent cooling, it is a good mid range one for those 1080P player with Freesync display.

Also there are Sapphire ones as well.

    RX580 price $341
    RTX2080Ti price $1899

    RX580 x 4 = RX2320
    $341 x 4 = $1364

    Therefore, this is a bargain.

    • Huh, i wonder what sort of performance if you pair 4 rx580 together.

    • Was waiting out for the new i7 9700 and RTX2070/2080 for a home system to do a few years of future proof light gaming, some app development and office work from home… but quite frankly it seems like it's going to be a rip off as nVidea, Intel and RAM prices gouge my pocket all the way.

A question to somebody who has more experience with different systems: I've had mostly Intel based PCs, but I have had a couple of AMD work systems over time (both on the budget end), and they haven't blown me away but they haven't let me down either. Is a Ryzen 7 2700x and one of two of these RX cards really going to give me much less than waiting for nVidea and Intel's latest extortionate offering? Which will cost 3 or more times the price?

Honestly a system with 2700x and a RX580 is an awesome system for a reasonable price. Slap in a 970 EVO and don't worry about the minimal performance gains you are missing out for a massively higher price.

        • Thanks for the reply; once I started hearing the price of the new nVidia cards I couldn't help think they're a wasteful purchase at the moment for the average user.

        • @trucktech: Though I'll be honest, I have an 8700k because at the time I wasn't interested in the 1700x, but the 2700x has a 14% faster single threaded core over the 1700x and I'd choose that over a 8700k now.

    • 1800?!

Those things are getting dangerously close to doubling the 1080ti…I highly doubt they'll beat dual 1080tis in anything other than ray tracing activities.

As for the deal seems like a great deal. I've heard the strix cards are great, and at that price that plus a 580 is a great deal right now.

Not sure about the performance of them but at least 4 RX580 together will be a good heater.

bought the 4gb version for $270 the other week, this might have been worth the extra $ but oh well, 4gb one plays all the games i want at 1200p without hitting vram limits so it's all good.

Bloody RAM prices pushing up the price of more than 2year old Tech.

This shouldn't be more than $250 this late in its life cycle.

RAM prices aren't at fault here, it'd be crypto's.
