I was wondering how it was meant to protect the eyes…but I presume the allergen blocker/binder gets translocated throughout the mucosa. I just read the small trial paper -small sample size but it was effective in reducing sneezes, eye itches and congestion. I would have liked to see how it compared to antihistamines, rather than untreated.
Might be worth a shot. I basically just get the sneezes and itchy eyes so this sounds like it could work for me. Antihistamines are effective but as much as I would like sometimes.
Interesting idea… Helpful for people who are only allergic to the inhalation of pollen though apparently. Those who suffer from dermal-reactions, such as contact with grass, seeds, dust mites, etc shouldn't use it though. =]
