        The paper books at the library do not read themselves to you (or your kids)…

        The iphone apps read the story to you as well as show you the text… it helps encourage young kids to learn to read while enjoying the story…

        i have a couple of these and my 4yo and 2 yo enjoy them… i might buy a couple more when i get back home tonight…

        You can only purchase them from the Apple ITunes store…
        The link is a list of all the apps on sale…

        Obviously you don't own an iphone or ipad, so don't get your knickers in a knot over it…

  OK, I'll make a constructive comment.
  The only app that I'd be interested in having ie. the best Dr. Seuss book "Oh, The Places You'll Go", isn't reduced. It's still $3.99. Boo.

  Why is Green eggs and ham advertised on the website for $2.99 but when you go to download it from iTunes it's $3.99? I just paid $1 more than the advertised price! Lucky it's one of my daughter's fav books atm or I wouldn't have brought it.

    In the US iTunes store it went from $US 3.99 -> $US 2.99

    In the AU iTunes store it went from $AU 4.99 -> $AU 3.99

    …so you did save $1 because of the sale

  Or choose to read at the library by myself?
