    what's the final price?

still more expensive in my area compared to other servos.

    • +2

      Ditto.

      • I was targeted for this. Will see how the price is like the next few days before deciding which service station I decide to go to. I have a feeling Coles Express will still be more expensive despite the "discount"

        • I had 14c off a litre it was still 4c more expensive than my local.

        • @dasher86: Mine worked out alright this week. $1.399 at my local Caltex. $1.409 at my CE.

Yep, useless as always. Must be 6 months+ since one of these 10C offers actually made any sense for me.

Got one of these offers, but

Local Shell (Not Coles Express) is 141.9 for E10
    Local Coles Express E10 157.9 less 10c less 4c = 143.9

And its been that way for months even when other servo's in area are as low as 119.9

But the Coles Expess driveway is much faster (as there's hardly any cars there)

    • so i guess they got that going for them which is nice :)

Neg for the everyday price-gouging Coles Express do and have been doing for years now. Like others have mentioned above, even with the 10c discount, they still cost more than most other servos locally. How they get away with it is beyond me.

      ☝︎☝︎this!!!☝︎☝︎

    • I fully agree as Coles Express are the biggest price gougers within the industry along with BP. Where I live Coles Express price is $1.59 cpl and they take forever to bring their prices down that few cents. I purchaced petrol on Wednesday this week for $1.34 cpl and this outlet is still making a profit but Coles Express which is owned by Wesfarmers and the companies they own which includes mining, oil & gas.
The mark up they are making is enormous. Withthis do called price cycling that Australia introduced via the Australian petroleum institute to rip the public more that what was done in the past., as its another form of price fixing.

  • No deal - cheaper elsewhere

  • Anyone tried it on diesel / lpg lately? Says it's excluded, but used to still work.

    • Yeah I've just brought a car that now needs to use Diesel, if anyone tried it and it still saves, please let us know, thank you

      • +1

I tried it with Lpg. Didn't work. Only $2 to test the waters #theozbargainway

        • Thanks for the reply, disappointing but hope electrical cars will be the thing one day :)

        • @cr12330: don’t get your hopes up. Even if you could get a car to run on air or water, you can be sure that the government will find a way to tax you for it.

The revenue lost on fuel excise to alternatives will be too great for the government to write off/ignore

        • @t25: Rego, insurance premiums, road tolls, tax on consumables (tyres, batteries) etc etc

        • @t25: I hear you, Government always need a piece of the pie, unlike over in the USA, with Electric, Water or Air, those car have heavy subsidies, oh well.

Minimum spend 11c which makes it 1c per ~75ml (15c/litre right)?

Do you think they will get annoyed if I fill up and pay a few dozen times tomorrow? Will pick the peak times to test it out of course.

    • When was this taken Sir?

      • 2:00pm

        • 2.00pm 1 January 2010?

  • +1

For the first time ever, I got this offer just for Diesel and LPG. Previously, they have all been for Petrol only and said "excludes Diesel and LPG".

    • Interesting, I tried lpg on normal offer.Didn't work. Neither does the BP me app offer. Lpg pumps dont show up.
