  • Targeted?

    • Yep - I just updated the post.

  • Guess it's slightly better than previous deals depending on the dollar to points conversion?

2000 points = $2000 spend (max). Or 3 times point (most I've seen) which is about $667.

2000 flybuys points are equivalent to 870 Velocity Frequent Flyer Points (plus any extra Velocity bonus has on offer, sometimes its 40% extra). But to $dollar conversion, no idea, it changes every time you try to buy flights.

But if you get the $20 voucher as well, the deal is pretty good.

    2000 flybuys is worth $10

  • So to summarise? You get 30 day free trial, then $20 voucher plus 2000 Flybuys if you pay up the $49 yearly fee?

  • how do i know if i've been targetted?

There will be a red laser dot on your forehead. (They will send you an email).

  • So this is basically a year's subscription for $19. This would probably be the second best offer they have made to date (after the free Google mini) unless I've forgotten or missed one of their incentives.

I wonder if I should wait and see what next month has to offer? I'm not really the type to regularly pay $100 delivery on a pair of $50 shoes. My type of spending is typically lots of cheap electronic parts or photographic accessories etc., which typically comes with free shipping from China. I guess this isn't much of a deal for me. Although I'd likely be hit for >$19 shipping in a year, I doubt my products would have the eBay Plus tag.

    • Kind of, you have to spend $10 at coles and $20 at ebay (with no discount since you can't stack a voucher and a promo code)

Then you're suckered into the sunk cost fallacy like with Prime/Costco where you've already paid for a membership so you end up spending more because you're saving so much.

  • have not even received the google mini LOL

  • Birthday sale this week right?

  • Has anyone get the google mini from eBay?

  • Ugh I need to sign up and stack this with 20 back, can't be bothered

Ugh, using gift cards no go
You are only entitled to free delivery on an eBay Plus item when:
