Has anyone tried this? Is this like YoPro???

    • Yes very similar. This is a bit more creamy imo (only tried the vanilla) & you can taste the greek yoghurt (quite subtle).

    • I thought it was worse than the YoPro. Much sweeter and an after taste which I didn't enjoy.

      • Sweetened with Stevia, which some people do find has an after taste.

        • They are comparing with yopro which also uses Stevia.

        • @em:

Yes, I see that now. Shouldn't post while I'm still asleep.

        • Yes, I know. This after taste wasn't the stevia this time..It was something different.

Only tried the strawberry, but tastes pretty much the same as YoPro.

  • +1

So if the analysis is the same as regular, what's the difference?

    • Thanks for the comments, esp regarding 'low fat/sugar filled' varieties. Regarding carbs, is no added cane sugar, just code for 'packed with fruit sugars'?

      • Stevia sweetened.

Less protein and more carbs somehow makes this "FIT"?

    • +1

Less carbs if you compare the same two. See my comment below.

Per 100 grams. Normal vs FIT strawberry ones:

      Protein: 8.1g vs 9.2g
      Fat: 0.2g vs 0.2g
      Carbs 9.9g vs 4.3g

  • +1

this is different to the "low-fat" chobani yoghurts because it doesn't have any added sugar. the yoghurt used in the comparison in the OP is plain yoghurt, which doesn't have any added sugar anyway. something like lemon low fat has 9.6g/100g compared to the 3.1g/100g here.

  • +4

YoPRO doesn't contain any sugar from memory?

    It's like 6-8g total carbs
Chobanis are like 15-18g of carbs or sugar

    • +1

      yep yopro is also NAS

    • YoPro Vanilla is 3.8% sugar.

    • Yup, no sugar but has an Erythritol/Stevia blend..pretty sure.

  • +2

Comparing plain to vanilla Fit in the OP is a little misleading.

Strawberry chobani has 1g less protein and 5.6g more carbs than the new Chobani fit strawberry. So in that regards it is a fitter version.

This. Fit strawberry has better macros compared to normal strawberry.

Plain chobani is best chobani at the end of the day.

  • Keen to try this

The comparison is not quite right. Let’s compare normal Chobani Strawberry one with the FIT Strawberry one.

Per 100 grams. Normal vs FIT:

    Protein: 8.1g vs 9.2g
    Fat: 0.2g vs 0.2g
    Carbs 9.9g vs 4.3g

So yeah. Less sugar. Slightly more protein. That’s half the sugar though which is the main thing.

  • I tried blueberry chobanj and it was gross. Don’t know what you guys see in it.

  • I finally got the chance to try this today. It tastes a bit sweeter and definitely more sour than YoPro. Not bad though, I'd buy it again if it was on special.
