"Buyer blocked due to excluded ship to locations."

Judging by the posting exclusions, the only place they'll deliver to is NSW Metro.

From memory, you'll need to set your address to one in the Sydney CBD in order to enable C&C.

    So… NSW Metro only…

  • Is this a good TV? I havnt been able to find a review on https://www.rtings.com/tv … What do people think about it?

    • +1

I have no personal experience with it, however reviews are hard to come by because Hisense tend not to provide review samples. Any reputable reviewer (rtings, HDTV Review, etc) will tend to only have a review if they have managed to borrow a sample from a store or review it when calibrating for a customer (which in the latter, few buyers of a budget tv will go to the expense of professional calibration).

I won't offer my own conclusion, or thoughts on other sets from Hisense, because it would be unfair to do so, but check forums (Whirlpool and the like) for people's in home experiences.

I'll offer my opinion. I took delivery of a 65P7 a few weeks ago. It's big and bright. 4k youtube looks great.

However - it is a massive downgrade from my Pana P50st50 plasma (2012). Blacks are shockingly bad.

Also, there is vertical banding present, which is a little annoying during sports (but not a big deal).

Overall - I regret this purchase and wish I'd held out longer for OLED price reduction….

        • +1

There are still good plasmas to buy on gumtree that will give a better picture than anything else than OLEDs, and they're usually in the $150 to $300 price range. Use a lot of power though.

VideoPro has this for only a little more using code 'POLLEN' $1557, pickup Brisbane or $55 delivery to most places.

  • Anyone know of a good database or website that might have all the stats and info of current modern tv's or at least is working on some?

I know of rtings but there has to be more :(

I would start my own but with the vastness of tv's these days I feel like I would not do a good enough job and it would only be raw data no reviews maybe anecdotes and other users feel for the product at best.

Always wonder what the differences between a certain TV and another either cheaper or just different but same price range all the time.

Seems decent. Best price for 200hz refresh rate and UHD, HDR etc etc.

Just pulled the trigger on this!
