I made a purchase this morning 19/9 and just now 4pm got a notification email stating it is sent, but the expected date is Oct 8 ~ 9?
I'm wondering what's going on here?
The email stating it is sent so i think it means it is out of their warehouse and is on the way to me? Then why does it takes 3 weeks to have a vacuum cleaner on the road from Sydney to Melbourne?
It is 2018 and Bing Lee's efficiency is like what? 80s?

it is on ebay and the expected date were on the product page so i was aware of it no problem at all, but what i assumed was like they were going to processing the order, checking payment etc do what they have to do for 1 to 2 weeks, then dispatching and the actual sending will take a few days. i just didn't expect they have sent it so fast, if it is sent on the same day, then what could be the reasons to have it on the road for 3 weeks?
Or it isn't sent at all and it is just a misleading email?
I think people are saying it might get to you a lot earlier than 3 weeks, but they give you the 3 week timeframe because they've no reason to specifically expedite it and promise you an earlier date.
Had the same thing happen when I bought something off their eBay store. Had a 2 week delivery date but it was shipped same day and delivered next day.
I bought a Dyson V10 Absolute for $800 (20% off) via eBay from Bing Lee with a quoted delivery time of 3 weeks. I just figured the prolonged delivery time was so they could place a "bulk" order to obtain a maximum discount from Dyson? (at the time I placed my order they had already sold 400)
I like Bing Lee.
Is this on eBay? They always overquote shipping to guarantee the item arrives 'on time'.
