Strong HD Set Top Box $48 AGAIN - Domanye Online

80

The $48 Strong SRT5428 is back again! After looking at Clive Peeters and Harvey Norman to no avail, found this on Domayne Online and ordered yesterday. I live in Canberra so the options are either to pick up from Fyshwick (local store) or via standard post ($7 postage fee applies). Called in this morning and they advised me the STB should be in the local warehouse for pick up in 1 or 2 days.

SRT5428 is exclusive to Harvey Norman so I am also wondering if Domanye is having them from HN?

  • What can this record, just TV?

    • What else do you want it to record?

      • other AV appliances.

        • Like what? Do you want to record the signal from a Video Camera or something?

Anyway, from the looks of the front and rear panels, it doesn't have any AV inputs, so you can't record except from the internal tuner.

  • It appears they've taken down the link… I just missed it haha

  • Its back up for sale….just ordered mine!

    • thanks for letting me know, just got one!

  • To answer the question: "SRT5428 is exclusive to Harvey Norman so I am also wondering if Domanye is having them from HN?":

Domayne, like Clive Peeters is owned by the Multi - Billionaire Gerry Harvey. My advice is be extremely cautious in your dealings with Gerry Harvey. His business plan includes an occasional loss leader to get you in the door of his stores. Gerry's henchmen will then do their best to flog over priced merchandise like Monster Cables. Do a google search using the words "Monster Myths" or "Monster Snake Oil". It has been alleged that one Monster HDMI cable has a similiar profit to nine Sony PS3 game consoles. We can only hope that one day he will give away his billions to charity.
